About
The Wildhorse Golf Club is the first of three planned courses for the Robson Ranch Community outside of Denton. Designed by architect Gary Stephenson, the course opened the second nine in October 2002.
The signature hole is on the front, a 566-yard par 5 that requires a monster drive followed by two demanding approach shots.
Getting there : From Dallas take I-35 to Denton and look for the 35 W split. This takes you back towards the south to Fort Worth for 6 miles, where you’ll take the Robson Ranch exit. Drive 1.5 miles west and look for the course.

Tee time
Our tea time was delayed for over an hour but we weren't told ahead of time that was the only disappointment
NW Metroplex Jewel
Great golf course for all levels, with different holes layouts that make it so fun to play. Definitely a place to consider.
I did not have time to visit the restaurant -bar but looked so cozy with a great view of the course.
Beautiful Course with great layout
Really enjoyed the members I played with and the course I played on was very beautiful and challenging . But holy smokes the pace of play was TERRIBLE. 5.5 hours for 18 They had a starter (who was very knowledgeable and nice) but no Marshal on course and no pace of play. Excellent practice facility and awesome putting green. They fix the pace of play and they will have a hard time keeping me off this course!!!
Robson Ranch prices have more than doubled. "Highway Robbery"!
We love playing Robson Ranch. It's a very nice course and everyone there is friendly.
Someone in management of the golf course has lost their mind! Prices recently "more than doubled. Prices used to be $40 to $50 (March and prior to March). They are now $97.99 starting around April 1st (ish).
Slower than molasses
I am still on the course right now. Tee time @3:42pm. It’s now 5:10pm and I’m waiting to hit my tee shot on hole 5. I am just going to turn my cart in and go home.
Don’t make the same mistake I did. If a 5 1/2 hour round sounds miserable to you then stay away from this course. I don’t know how more people aren’t upset about the pace of play here.
Always a treat
The Hot Deal was a phenomenal bargain. The course was in excellent condition. West to North is my favorite routing. Can’t wait to play it again soon.
Cost of golf at Robson Ranch
The "Hot Deal Prices" have been great. Thanks so much. On "about" March 1, 2024, golf prices shot up to significantly to $51.97 for the Hot Deal. We think the new "spring pricing" for a round of golf is excessive.
Best in DFW
Cart path only, driving range was closed, and super wet the day we played, but can’t help that. Starter and rangers were super nice and friendly, but the 2 guys in the pro shop were a different story. They acted like they could care less if you played their course or not.
As far as the course itself, spectacular. We played West and North which we played once before. I haven’t played the third nine yet. The greens are perfect. Very well cared for. Very nice to putt. Winter, so the fairways were dormant but still in very good condition.
It’s a good deal if you get a discount rate on GolfNow, but the regular rate is very expensive. I think the regular rate was around $125 and I’m sorry, but no public course is worth that.

Really nice course! Greens are in great shape! Fun layout on all : courses.
Fun course beautiful view.
Love the openers of this course. Being a beginner I had an easy time finding all of my shanked shots. The grounds are well kept and the dining area has wonderful food and staff.
