About
The Wildhorse Golf Club is the first of three planned courses for the Robson Ranch Community outside of Denton. Designed by architect Gary Stephenson, the course opened the second nine in October 2002.
The signature hole is on the front, a 566-yard par 5 that requires a monster drive followed by two demanding approach shots.
Getting there : From Dallas take I-35 to Denton and look for the 35 W split. This takes you back towards the south to Fort Worth for 6 miles, where you’ll take the Robson Ranch exit. Drive 1.5 miles west and look for the course.

Fair course
Always a well kept course. Open fairways but rough can be tough! Great staff, very friendly.
Friendly
They do not do well with selling drinks on the course or at the turn. Seems members do not use these services like pay as you go golfers.

Beautiful course - awesome greens
I got this course at a discounted price and used a gift card I had from my birthday, so cost was no issue, otherwise pretty pricey. But I really enjoyed myself, I’ve played probably twenty courses around Dallas and this is top 2 easy. Great tee boxes, groomed bunkers, and huge greens that were a lot of fun. Highly recommend

Not to be Missed AAA+
Ok, yes once you get 'past' the geriatric environment / phalanx of members here is the deal. One of the best conditioned layouts in DFW, also a good challenge. Dog legs, hazards, elevations and super smooth greens. The whites were too short so I played my 9 hncp from Blue tee. Restaurant is 5 star, good drinks and food. Don't let the old men keep you from coming out here.

Greens are very receptive
Played the West -North courses.
First time playing the North.
I enjoyed the course conditions, especially the greens.
Would recommend to others.
Pace of play was slow. “ambassador’s” did nothing.
In light of this dry, HOT summer the course was in good shape.
Give it a try if you haven’t already done so.

The course is fantastic. The amenities are top notch. The only thing I can say is there is no cart person bringing drinks so bring your own.

You won’t be disappointed
Wildhorse at Robson Ranch has 27 holes that are best described as very enjoyable resort style golf. The course is in excellent condition especially given the heat this past summer. They obviously have an ample maintenance budget. The range is large and has quality turf with good range balls. Tees and fairways are excellent quality Bermuda grass and the greens are one of the newer variety of fine leaf Bermuda and put very well. This was superior value for the price as it’s a good private club quality course with some very interesting holes. From the back it’s challenging for a scratch player but not overly hard. You hit it well you can score. I doubt this will be open for public play for very long so give it a try while you can.
