One of the best layouts in Greater Houston area
One of the best golf secrets in Greater Houston area. Course is in phenomenal condition!! Greens had been sanded but they still roled true. Pace of play was outstanding and course marshal asked if our group wanted to play again for FREE!! Only downfall were the mosquitoes, there were everywhere and there was A LOT of them. They made the morning round tough, but other than that, the best of the best when it come to golf!!
Great course, but mosquitoes galore
The course was in great shape and the temporary green on number 14 is no more, the normal green is back. However you couldn’t play the course as designed dur to the large number of mosquitoes. If you hit the ball into the rough or the shade you had 20 plus mosquitos on you within seconds and that made playing any shot impossible. This was with our foursome using a full can of bug spray over the 18 holes. The course needs to spray for them and continue spraying once they are gone so they don’t come back.
Totally enjoy
Want to see what all the hype is all about. Wow what a great day of golf even playing as a single. Greens had light sand and one temporary green not a problem. Fairways were perfect, just a bit long for me-lost some distance on my drives. My problem. Best thing is it is an easy drive from Houston-no traffic both direction.
Will be back with some of my golf group.
Beautiful course. Very well maintained. Awesome staff! Well worth the drive and the greens fee; even if you don't get a hot deal.
Perfect conditions except for.....
There was a temporary green on one of the holes but the grass for the temp green was not cut short, so putting was really not possible.
Other than that, course was in great shape. Greens are very challenging.
Staff was very friendly and accommodating.
I will definitely be back for another round!!
Hard to beat
I have always enjoyed this course. Very peaceful place to play. As others have pointed out, the 14th has a temp green at the moment, but it really didn't take much away from the round. Just play it as a two putt green and move on. The staff could not be nicer.
Had my 15 yr old son along and I think it is now his favorite course.

course was perfect except hole 14 had a temporary green, just beautiful will play again.
If you want a challenge and appreciate proper fairways and greens. Then this is the place. The pace was great and still the refreshment cart was timely. The staff is always friendly and accommodating.
Beautiful hidden gem. Perfectly maintained course. Absolutely loved it. I wish 14th hole was not under repair.
Definitely will be back.
Do Yourself A Favor!
I’ll admit it’s a drive, but I could play this course everyday if it was more convenient. Clubhouse is nothing fancy, but staff is so friendly it makes up for it. Conditions are always good, cost one star because of a temp. green this time. Keep up the good work gents, love it!
