Not worth the money even though it was a hot deal. The greens were good and rolling true but the rough and bunkers were in horrendous shape. Layout of the course was very confusing. Would not recommend.

Only bag drop with no good direction on where to go. No golf carts in the parking lot allowed. Gentleman in the shop was nice. Driving range was ok. Fairways are Very uneven with some contains some areas that are very dry vs others that are a bit more grassy. Varies by hole. Shots landing in the fairway makes hit ball bounce/land all over the place which is hard to have consistency. Greens were decent and a bit fast. Got a bit worse in the back 9 holes. Traps are not playable at all. Prepare to lose a ton of golf balls in the rough which makes this not fun at all. I should be able to find my golf ball in the rough and keep it in play but not here. Overall an ok course. Nothing exciting here. Prob won’t be back as I hate losing golf balls about 1-2 feet into the rough.

I've played this course several times. The course was in good condition, including the greens. Pace of play was much improved, perhaps because fewer golfers are out in the hot conditions.

Course conditions were fair. Greens excellent but traps were unplayable. Fairways improved from last time I played, but still average. Inconvenient to have to use the bag drop, as they won’t let you take carts to your car. Pace of play was very good.

Houston National Golf Course has some terrible new rules. There are no carts allowed in the parking lot, but there’s no efficient bag drop-off system. Six or eighteen holes are permanently designated as cart-only paths, which is illogical. The electronic fences for carts aren’t programmed correctly, causing the carts to shut off frequently while on the cart paths. The course has improved significantly and is in good condition, but I’m not willing to deal with these new rules. There are many other golf courses in Houston that offer a better experience.

Played this course thinking the price paid would reflect the facility and the course condition. Hundreds of ant mounds everywhere on every hole, tons of sand spots that are not bunkers but just not kept up. Mediocre facility and the food, you would be better off bringing a sandwich form two days ago

Been playing here several times, first time I notice a number of the fairways being in less than good shape, a lot of weeds and rough patches.

Ended up playing behind a 5 ball which meant we had to wait on every hole for every shot. Surprised there wasn't a starter nor marshal on a Memorial day when it was busy.

We played Houston National yesterday and it was a great round. The pro shop staff was very friendly and helpful.

We tied off before our scheduled tee time and played at a great pace.

The greens were in fantastic shape. Fairways in good shape.

Great value and the fees included lunch and a drink.

Really nice course design, but the condition was awful. Fairways taken over by weeds and lots of bare patches. Bunkers not raked, albeit there was rain overnight, but still could have easily been maintained by the green keepers. Greens ok, but quite a few damaged areas. I won’t be back and not worth the $80 I paid

Greens are in good condition. 17 and 18 are unusual holes that you need to study to understand. Overall a fun good value course. Not walkable.

Staff was great! Geofencing golf carts is annoying! Course condition is ok. Not worth $90
