Multi time player
My wife and I have been playing Valencia for several years on our annual winter vacation. It is typically in good condition. It can be challenging, particularly if you opt to play from longer yardages. The greens all have some type of ridge or tier that forces you to be in the correct part of the green to have a good chance of making your putt. There is water, but it only tends to come in play on extremely wayward shots. Our foursome did not lose a single ball. A warning, if you play in the afternoon, the clubhouse may be closed when you finish your round. So use the bathroom on hole 15.
Good course
Nice conditions considering the drought in Florida at this time. Greens were true, fairways were good.
Valencia
Compared to other public courses in the Naples area Valencia has better than average condition. Course is still green even with the lack of rainfall this season. Back nine is much more picturesque than the front side. Considering how expensive golf is in this area Valencia is a great buy especially if you can wait till the late afternoon.
Course condition
The course was in great shape fairways and greens. Pace of play was good 4:15
Good course!
Decent course for Naples public golf which is iffy and way overpriced.
Got a GN "deal" for $129. Course was in very nice shape, greens rolled true. Plenty of tees to find your desired length.
Right up there with Spanish Wells as the best conditioned courses I played in the Naples area.
Slow pace on front nine, waited on almost every hole. Finished in 4:20. Great day at Valencia anyway.
Over priced. Conditions average
This course is average like a typical muni course, but at a high price. Conditions were ok, a bit dry and brown. Not what you typically find in Naples,
Low value for the money overpriced
Club house is a trailer. Looks like its been there for quite a while
Good Value, Nice Course
Pace is slow, had to wait most holes on back 9. We finished in about 4 hours anyway. Course in good condition, few dry bare areas. The range a bit ragged, chipping and putting areas very satisfactory. Amenities available to public meager for the quality of the course but staff is excellent. Highly recommend.
