Morning rain with good recovery
Rained in the morning which made conditions soggy. The course was accommodating earlier groups, which pushed us about an hour back to 1:30. Despite having to wait, I appreciated the club trying to get those with tee times on the course.
Everything dried pretty well and pace was as expected with the backup. Open course, very player friendly.
Starter did a nice job in spite of the conditions.
Good course, but spring monthly price increase is too much
Love the golf course and the staff running…well organized. Played early so pace of play was real good.
Not pleased that Feb 1 the price rises to $159. Will not play it for that price. Too bad, as I would have booked 1/week at the $135 or lower rate
Cow Pasture
The managers of Valencia should be ashamed of their selves to call Valencia a Country. This was the worst course I've played in Naples, Florida, EVER. The course layout was good, but the conditions were the worst. This course is at best a $65.00/18. We'll never return.
Slow play
Front nine was super slow as we waited every hole. Finally saw a ranger after our last hole on nine and he barked at us to pick up our pace.. There was a different ranger on the back nine who did his job as we saw him five times. The pace of play picked up dramatically..
Surprise
First time. Heard complaints about construction, mostly on back 9. Paleese - not distracting or loud. Get over it. Very good layout - love the greens. Stupid Pricey like all the others but it is what it is. I’d go back. I’m
Disappointed
Sorry but The experience was not what I expected and certainly not worth the price for the greens fee and cart.
Good public course
This course will be great once the surrounding constructing is done. That construction is restricting the ability to make it an A rated course. That being said it's very payable and although the greens were brown they ran true and were fast and held shots. I will play there every visit
