Valencia Golf & Country Club

The reason I’m saying this, is because I feel we paid to much for this course. It should have never cost $294.67 for two players. It’s a 25 yr old course. They are doing construction & building homes so the course may have been constructed different & my Garmin watch did not give accurate distances to the green on the back 9. It was way off.

For this amount of money it should have been prestigious & it was not.

This course was ok only because on the back 9 my garmin watch did not work. I feel the course may have been reconstructed due to houses being built & the garmin did not update. Also, I booked this on tee off and the deal was $296.00 for two people & then the twosome we golfed with paid $180.00. The course was not worth $148.00 each,

I was looking for a Naples course with some length.

I believe the scorecard was 7100 yards. I ended up playing the tips with some young guys here on vacation. One of them was a +1. I wasn’t looking to play that far back but it was fine. One par five is 613 yards. Conditions of the greens are fine

roll fairly well wouldn’t call them fast just fair.

Nice Grass driving range and Putting area also a chipping area with sand trap.

Little far from everything but easy to get to.

We have played Valencia a few time nice course. Today we played first nine great pace. On 14 a group jumped in front of us we advised the Marshall he said they would play a 2 holes and be gone they continued to 18 not acceptable. We waited every hole and turned an enjoyable round into a very frustrating round.

Having not played there in 2 years, the greens have improved tremendously. Our foursome played in 3 hrs and 20 mins. Played a premium and it was worth it. especially compared to Old Corkscrew greens. I still get annoyed when you pay $169 and range balls are extra.

Have played here before. Some holes are quite challenging, especially from the back tees. They have a driving range and large practice putting green, The greens are generally fast. I had made a mistake and only booked myself but when we showed up they worked us in right at our appointed time and the play went great. Very friendly staff. No "Real" clubhouse- just a trailer size building.

Perfect day, course was full and play was very slow. The course seemed a little dry.

Beautiful course with friendly staff. Good for golfers of all skill levels, fairly open with wide fairways for the most part. Greens were pretty slick, but rolled well. Pricey, but what isn’t?

For the price point, You do not get a lot of value. There are better courses to play for the same price point. Better amenities, better course conditions, better pace of play etc. if it was for half the cost I would recommend it to others. We most likely won’t be back unless there’s no other choice.
