About
The Arthur Hills/Mike Dasher-designed Sienna Plantation is a flat, wooded course that has been enhanced to provide elevation changes. The result is a challenging track that rolls between lakes, creeks, and the native hardwoods that dominate the landscape.
In terms of playability, you'll primarily notice the abundance of risk-reward decisions that are required throughout the round on this course, which tips out at 7,151 yards.
Out of the chute you'll be challenged immediately-the opening two holes play as a 427-yard par 4 and a 601-yard par 5. It lightens up a bit on holes 3-4 with a reasonably short par 3 and a short par 4, but holes 5-8 can blow your score up quickly if you're not on your game. No. 6 is a monster 251-yard par 3 sandwiched between two 450-yard par 4s.
On the back it's more of the same, with the nine opening with four 400-yard plus par 4s. Both par 3s are over 200 yards, and the par 5s are each well over 500 yards. The only real birdie opportunity for the average handicapper is the 320-yard No. 16.
Getting there : Take Hwy. 59 south to the Williams Trace exit. Turn left on Williams Trace to Hwy. 6. Turn left and drive 5.5 miles to the Sienna Plantation main entrance. Turn right and follow the signs to the Information Center.

Make sure you bring a range finder. Not a distance marked anywhere.
Interesting and challenging course
I like this course quite a lot, but be aware that it doesn't drain very well so if there has been recent rains, expect the course to be very muddy.
Decent course
Enjoyed the course overall, but some holes weren’t in the best shape. Greens were being sprayed with green fertilizer during the round and some had some excavation going on.

WIND
It was 45deg, wind was 17mph…. It hurt some holes and HELPED some others. Drove the green from the whites on 16!!!
Good course before 3
Nice course, just make sure your done by 3pm no beverage cart and club house closed up
If I can give negative rating
The management team decided to stack group after group with a 5-min interval. We were four and started on 1st tee with another four-some group in front on the fairway. As soon as we finished with 1st hole, things started worst. There were 3 groups (double - waiting at the teebox; 3-some: on the fairway; 4-some: near the green). There was no marshal nearby. We even called the proshop, but the line kept ringing without anyone answering. Hole 1 and 2 green are like walking at the dog park with weeds and sand. INCONCEIVABLE!!! We ended up leaving after hole #5 without bothering to ask for the raincheck because I will never come back to this non-sense course.

Good course, not maintenaned
Great course, jus not maintained well. Don’t normally rate courses but I took a group and they felt like wasted money.

A sprinkle away from excellent
Course was generally in good shape -- could see the remnants of a dry summer mostly healed, Greens were rolling quick and true. Two holes on the back nine sprinklers were turned on after teeing off and left on to provide an annoying shower from fairway to green. Otherwise, a good value choice.

Disappointed
Went through 3 carts in 1 round. They just kept dying! Waited 30 minutes for one of the replacements.

Problem
Only 6 as cart went dead had to wait for new cart as cart went dead..After cart went dead left frustrated slow play..Did not ask for raincheck as I could not per frustration finish round.
