The Arthur Hills/Mike Dasher-designed Sienna Plantation is a flat, wooded course that has been enhanced to provide elevation changes. The result is a challenging track that rolls between lakes, creeks, and the native hardwoods that dominate the landscape.
In terms of playability, you'll primarily notice the abundance of risk-reward decisions that are required throughout the round on this course, which tips out at 7,151 yards.
Out of the chute you'll be challenged immediately-the opening two holes play as a 427-yard par 4 and a 601-yard par 5. It lightens up a bit on holes 3-4 with a reasonably short par 3 and a short par 4, but holes 5-8 can blow your score up quickly if you're not on your game. No. 6 is a monster 251-yard par 3 sandwiched between two 450-yard par 4s.
On the back it's more of the same, with the nine opening with four 400-yard plus par 4s. Both par 3s are over 200 yards, and the par 5s are each well over 500 yards. The only real birdie opportunity for the average handicapper is the 320-yard No. 16.
Getting there : Take Hwy. 59 south to the Williams Trace exit. Turn left on Williams Trace to Hwy. 6. Turn left and drive 5.5 miles to the Sienna Plantation main entrance. Turn right and follow the signs to the Information Center.

Golfer Reviews
The course has a great layout but course conditions are average. The green were heavily sanded and the fairways and tee boxes showed the results of a hard Texas summer. Restaurant facilities are good.
Good course
Course layout is very good. Lots of fun to play. Greens had just been sanded and this was a bit of a bummer they were pretty smooth but slow the staff behind the desk was more interested in talking to his buddy instead of waiting on us but that was just a little annoying. Overall a good course to play
greens and Boxes
The greens were being aired and were very bumpy. There was no mention to this while imwas booking the round.
The tee boxes were so hard it was hard to tee up as well as long regular yard grass
It’s a shame
I live in the neighborhood. I have played this course nearly 100 times over the past 18 years. I love the layout and the convenience. But the course and its management continue to disappoint. Condition of the course is ok at best.
Played today. Heat index when I teed off was 110. No drink cart and the bar closes early on Sunday. Yet they policy the no outside drink policy. Only a matter of time before someone gets heat stroke because of the policy and lack of drinks.
Course condition today was ok. Greens had been recently punched. They were bumpy. Many dead spots on greens. Tee boxes were hard as rock. Could not get a long tee in most of them. Most areas off fairways were burnt to a crisp. Course needs water and a little love.
@Eshep3... I agree with you 100%. Turning a profit managing golf courses is a tough task, but this place would be a gold mine under the proper management. The restaurant alone would make a visit/investment here worthwhile. Many of the residents have bailed and moved to Sugar Creek, Riverbend and Black Hawk. I’m positive under new ownership and an aggressive renovation plan, all those guys, along with the wives and kids, will bring their money back to Sienna. We shall see!

Great Layout
The course played long and they had just sanded the greens, so I would imagine they are going to look good the time our first fall rolls around. Will def be playing it again
Great Course
First time I played and I really enjoyed the course. Another example of the great selection on GolfNow. With a discounted tee time on the Hot Deals section, this is a must play! Great layout, great track, good walk. Great test. I didn't try any of the amenities, but the club house/grill, etc,, seemed to be very modern, clean, etc. A bit of a drive for me, but no doubt I'll be back. All things considered and with multiple Hot Deal tee times available at different courses, this will be one of my top picks.
Fun course, quick round
Course was in great shape and also great pace of play. I teed off at 12:52 and zipped right through. Good layout where you get to use majority of clubs in your bag. Greens were fast, important to stay below the hole

I’ve been playing Sienna for about 5 years now...off and on. The course is in the best condition I have seen....especially the greens. Pace of play is great during the week.
Great Outing
The course is in great shape. Greens, fairways and bunkers almost perfect. Really enjoyed my round. If I’m picky, the only issue I found was confusion on the path between hole 15 and 16, it took me a couple minutes to figure out the next hole was across the street. I will be back.
