Overall I was disappointed with the course due to poor greens and bunkers. The greens need to be aerated, watered, and rolled.

My Dad and I play here on a regular basis. We love the course, but today we had an issue. Normally, we get the first tee time. We play quickly, so it is nice to move through the course without anyone in front of us. When we get to the 15th tee there are now several groups ahead us. The group directly in front of us has 5 players, so our morning came to a screeching halt. When I got to the clubhouse I asked the attendant why he started the group on the back 9, instead of the front, but he really couldn’t give me a satisfactory answer. This was not a tournament.

We get up early in the morning to avoid slow play, but the course won today. My hope would be this would be an isolated situation, otherwise we will have to find a new course...

You can tell this course was very nice at one time. It has been very neglected for some time. Sand traps hadn’t been racked or edge for a long time. You couldn’t play out of sand traps cause so hard and grass and weeds growing in them. I was very disappointed in this course.

GCoT is a really nice course. Greens were in good condition...a little bumpy but not bad. Fairways were great, especially for late August. However...the traps were atrocious. Note I did not say "sand" traps as there was barely a grain of sand in any of them. Traps were generally just a hole filled with mud, or rock hard with a few stones.

I would have rate conditions a 4 or maybe even a 5 if not for these traps.

Despite the traps, I will play there again as I enjoy the layout and the rest of the conditions are always good to very good, they have a nice warm up area, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

overall course was OK, but the rough was really rough. lost 5 balls, found 4 not mine.

really like the course.. great holes and challenging. need to add ball washers and greens are not in good shape.

Arrived early for my tee time. The staff said I could go when I was ready. Nice pace and the course was not too easy. Has a couple af challenging water holes. All around a nice course.

Intrigued by the full course Zoysia, but course not well maintained; fairways thatchy; cart paths uneven; greens look good but actually quite bumpy. And the course design, in my opinion, very uninspiring. A fairly bare-bones operation. Not worth the extra drive to play there.

Great value but the pace of play this morning was pretty bad. Was sitting 10-15 minutes after every hole waiting for the groups ahead.

This course has improved light years in the last few years. Some bunkers needed sand, but otherwise green and fairway conditions were outstanding. The layout has great variety and difficulty is adjustable by choice of tees. It is a bit of a drive from North San Antonio, but fast pace of play more than made up for it - - and you cannot beat the Golf Now deals.

Beautiful course with great value. Sand traps weren’t drained, otherwise excellent.

The golf course was great but, the timing was bad. I travel 120 miles to play this beautiful course and was side tracked by severe weather that hit the San Antonio area with heavy rains, high dangerous winds and hail. The course flooded real quick and for our safety the course manager had to close the golf course. I was only able to play 5 holes and by the time I arrived at the club house was soaking wet. I was treated very well at the club house and hopefully one day soon I can go back and a play full round. Thank you and stay safe, Commish

While playing the 7th hole a large thunderstorm rained us out. I tried to call golf now but the call wouldn't go through.

My question is why. This is the first time this has happened to me. Someone from golf now needs to call me and get the details on the rain out. Thanks, Bob 210-264 44948

First time playing this course and with my Jr golfer. Fairways and greens were in GREAT shape! Can't wait to play it again with more of my buddies

I finally played this course and I really like it! It's a well thought out course design that really gets you thinking strategy from nearly every tee box - even visually intimidating at times! The Zoysia grass is awesome and provides well defined fairways and tour quality rough. Expansive greens are unguarded but with enough undulation in them to make them challenging, although fair. At this time, the greens were pretty thin although they rolled pretty well for the most part. Bunkers have had a lot of sand washed out and are in rough shape. I played from the tips on a moderately windy day and had my hands full! Looking forward a second chance at this course!

Very nice and challenging course with well manicured greens, fairways, and tee boxes. The driving range and practice greens are well maintained. The only negative is their greenside bunkers seem to be completely neglected.

Fairways are great. A little disappointed in the greens. Surprised they were as thin as they were with as much rain we have had.
