Teravista Golf Club
About
Despite its Hill Country setting, Teravista Golf Club has more of a links feel, with wide-open fairways and casually rolling mounds. About 60-70 white bunkers spot the layout, and water comes into play on 14 holes. No. 17 is the no. 1 handicap, playing a long 443 yards from the tips. The hole bends left toward a kidney-shaped green that is surrounded by three bunkers. Teravista G.C. offers a beginner-friendly tee box that plays only 3,744 yards, making it enjoyable for any skill level. The National Golf Course Owners Association has dubbed this 18-hole Clifton-Ezell-Clifton design a "Beginner Friendly Course."

good round
Teravista is a good course on a GolfNow 'HOT DEAL'.
Pace of play was ok today but there have been times when the back nine gets really congested. Be prepared.
Good, but could use better notices
The Good - friendly staff, carts have USB, layout overall is good.
Areas for improvement - There was no alert that the course had a tournament going on and, because of that, the snack bar was closed for food. Couldn't even get a hot dog at noon.
There is only one bathroom on the course, which winds through houses, so there are not even woods to use if necessary.
There are no course rangers and the four 20-somethings in front of us thought they could play from the tips. It was apparent they should have moved up. It resulted in a 5+ hour round. Very frustrating when they could look back and see three groups behind them on the tee and they would be waiting for the green to clear from over 250 out, then duff the ball 100 yards or into a hazard. The three groups behind us ran out of daylight because of this group. A cursory ride by a ranger every couple hours would be helpful.
Great course, good value.
Main complaint was pace of play. 18 holes took nearly 5 hrs....way to long for such a forgiving course. After the long round, stopped in for a bite to eat and all they had was sandwiches for what's labeled as a full service restaurant.
Aside from that nice staff, course was in good shape for the winter season considering the cold wether and snow recently. Fun to play, forgiving and enjoyable course, just wish pace of play was a bit faster.
i WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS GOLF COURSE AND GOLF.NOW SHOULD TAKE IT OFF THEIR LIST OF COURSES.. THEY DO NOT MARSHAL THIS COURSE. PEOPLE DRIVE RIGHT BY YA , AND DRIVE THROUGH IN FRONT OF YOU. THEIR IS NO ETIQUETTE COMPLIANCE. IT WAS A TERRIBLE DAY. WE BARELY GOT DONE BY DARK . I TALKED TO THE PRO SHOP WHEN WE FINISHED OUT ROUND. THEY ACTED VERY CAVALIER ABOUT IT, AND SAID THEY WOULD TRY TO IMPOVE BUT DON'T HAVE MRSHALLS OUT IN THE AFTERNOON. IT WAS NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE I WOULD NOT GO BACK AGAIN. EVERRRRRR NOR WOULD THE REST OF OUR FOURSOME
Great day to play golf with my dad !
Greens were in fantastic shape as were the fairways, tee boxes were great except for a couple of guys digging trenches on every box and not repairing any of them. The clubhouse employees were very nice and accommodating. Price was terrific at $21 thanks to Golf Now, really enjoyed the course, weather was perfect. Will definitely be back.
Nice course and fast
We played their sister course on Sunday and took 5+ hrs. We finished here in under 4 hrs here following a foursome and threesome. Some nice holes. Can’t wait to play it again with a little course knowledge. Tee to green were in nice shape. Nice sand in bunkers.
Cart girl came around often. Sandwiches at the turn were good. A must play in the area.
Teravista
Dry atmosphere, no body hustling, staff is there for a pay check. That’s just the vibe that bounced around. That’s too bad because the course is great. It’s like they are satisfied where they are . That’s why I changed my membership to the STAR. Over all rating 6.2.
A nice, but challenging track
New to Austin, I have been checking out various courses and picked this one because it was the only one I found that had not yet punched and sanded. It is a great layout and, except for a couple of issues not related to the course conditions, it was a great experience.
The Good: This is a nice track. Course knowledge definitely helps and the greens were FAST. The staff was friendly and there is a cart-girl. Overall the condition was very good.
The Challenges: Course knowledge is a must. There are a LOT of places you can get yourself into trouble; water that crosses the fairways, trees that will eat your ball, and areas where you saw the ball bounce, but then can't find it in the rough. Definitely a thinkers/use all the clubs in the bag type course.
The ugly and laughs: The pace of play was a total buzzkill. Starting out on 10, we were immediately concerned ; a foursome of women two groups in front of us took 57 minutes to play two holes and had four groups stacked up behind them on 12 tee. Once a marshal appeared, the pace picked up, but it still took over 5 hours to play the round. Also, we laughed at the multiple signs on the course that claimed golfers were responsible for property damage to the houses. News flash for those who don't know, Unless the homeowner can prove you intentionally hit the ball at their house, you can't be held liable for trespass damages. Your intention was to hit the ball onto the fairway or green, right? See Malouf v. Dallas Athletic Country Club, 837 S.W.2d 674 (Tex. App-Dallas 1992, no pet.)
Fun at Teravista
A friend and I got the chance to play Teravista last weekend. It was a fun course with an interesting layout. (Watch out for the houses and cars).
Outstanding
Had a great time. Thanks for the hospitality. Look forward to playing again on your beautiful course.

We appreciate the 5 Stars!
Looking forward to having you out at Teravista again!
Always a great track to play
Title says it all. Been playing this course for years and it's always a pleasure every time I'm out.
Thank you for being a loyal golfer at Teravista! We appreciate your business over the years!
Perfect Greens!
I've really been looking forward to playing some nice, fast greens, after some super slow greens played recently at several ATX Munis. They were perfect at Teravista, & we had a great round, played in just under 4hr on Sun PM. A very well run course top to bottom. Only complaint was several beat up & unlevel Tee boxes... needing some attention. Definitely will play again.
Thank you for the great compliment on our perfect greens! We appreciate your feedback on the tee boxes and will definitely look into it!
One of the best
This course was amazing in all aspects! Great value and well worth the money! Don't pass up the opportunity to play it if you have the chance
Hi Joe,
Thank you so much for the 5 Stars! Hope to have you back soon.
Teravista
Course was in great shape and greens rolled very consistent. Sand Traps were not in great shape. No consistency from one to the other. I know "don't hit the ball in them" lol. Love playing this course.
Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback on your experience at Teravista! We will definitely take a look at the sand traps.
Great shape
Kudos to the grounds crew this is the best shape I've seen this course in the last two years. Keep it up!
Greens were smooth and rolled true. Fairways were great too!
Thank you Kevin! Our crew works hard to keep the course in top shape, so we appreciate the compliment!
Nice layout not to difficult great for any level of golfer
I haven't played this course in some time but I have to say the marshalls are very friendly and accommodating. One even offerd some tips to my grandson who came to play golf with me on his birthday. Course was in good shape even in this high temperatures. Will be back sooner than later to play again.
Thanks for coming out to Teravista with your Grandson! Glad you both had a good time! Hope to see the two of you again soon!
Stacked tee times
Nice course, but they stack tee times too close to eachother. Expect a terrible pace of play on weekends; 4 hours and 45 minutes to 5 hour and 15 minute rounds. Ridiculous. Course is generally in nice shape, but it's not worth the crazy waits between each shot.
Thank you both for coming out to play at Teravista! We are glad to see you both had a good time. Hope to have you back out on the course soon!!
