About
Previously known as Aaki Ranch International Golf Course, Stone River Golf Club is a basic, homemade 18-hole track that opened in 1997, featuring rolling Bermuda pastures, manmade lakes, and young trees. Playing only 6,487 yards from the tips with minimal trees lining the fairways, you’ll be able to swing hard and let it rip.
Getting there : From Dallas, head east on I-30 for about 25 miles to exit 77B (FM35). Turn right at the stop onto FM 35, then continue about 1 mile. Turn right onto FM 2453 and drive another .5 miles. The golf course is on your right

Good course
Gas and greens were good, I wish you could hit your driver at the practice range. But other than that, good course.
Abysmal
Honestly was shocked by just how poor the conditions were. When you hit the fairway yet it still feels like you’re hitting out of deep rough. The greens were extremely fury. To top that all off the lady that checked us in gave us a ridiculously hard time despite showing email confirmation of pre paying through GolfNow.
Needless to say I will not being wasting my time or money playing here again.
Flat and boring
Nothing special here. No bunkers and flat. Country farmland. Course and facility design and condition slightly below average. Greens bumpy with some weeds. Plays like a “campground course”. Staff and other players were friendly and that makes up for boring layout. Overall 5/10
Acceptable
The course does hold a lot of water. Greens had weeds. Course not very well maintained. All in all it's a convenient place for me.
Time with Grandson
Beautiful spring day, spent a great afternoon playing golf with my seven year old grandson. Watching his excitement for playing, made for a great day.
Would not recommend this course to anyone. Waited long time on every shot. Hit off dirt all day. Driving range is on other side of course and hit off dirt or mats. Greens overrun with weeds. Parking lot too small. Not enough carts so had to wait for a cart.
Course was in good shape
Tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in good shape. The only complaint is the 90° rule. It slows play. This rule has been in place for several months.

Great place to play. Very playable but still challenging.

Needs lots of water. In poor condition. Cracks in back nine fairways. Will not go back

Course overall was dry and felt like playing on concrete, but with drought conditions it's expected. Value was good though.
