Olympia Hills Golf Course
About
Olympia Hills Golf Course is very exciting and enhances San Antonio's reputation as a golf destination. A unique combination of natural topography and man-made mounds and bunkers make this a super course. Native South Texas vegetation and golf course grass seed formulations on fairways and greens will provide state-of-the-game playing surfaces. The views are spectacular, with several holes playing to greens well below the tees, while other lead to a significant rise to reach the putting surface. Fairways, which on some holes are tight, are often sloped and guarded by bunkers. The tips will not be played by the faint hearted, but with four sets of tee boxes, the course can be enjoyed by all levels of players.

Greens are bad
Not sure what happened to greens but they are in really bad shape, to a point that they are unplayable, fairways are in somewhat decent shape but only in the center, a few yards off and you’ll be in dirt mixed with rocks. Overall I would not recommend this course.
Olympia
Fairways ok but greens are trash and so are the sand traps
Condition
I went to play for my first time ever and it was just unbelievable how bad it was. The fairways were ok some good some bad nothing to bad.
However, the greens were just awful not kept up at all and it’s like they didn’t even give it any effort to try. Just terrible. If you are thinking about playing there soon… don’t find a better course to play.
Best course in San Antonio
I play this course regularly, but have played many of the other courses around town.
Despite some greens having issues this is by far the most enjoyable course to play in this area.
Horrible greens!
Sorry but this course has issues! Greens are simply put awful!! Why would they even try to punch them when over 50% have no grass on them? I understand rains have put a burden but this is ridiculous. Rains have caused flooding on fairways so lots of dry mud apparent as well. Use to love the course but hopefully some care and extra work will bring it back to its glory..
Greens are terrible
Fairways are in good shape. Greens need a lot of work
Greens were in horrible shape and storm debris was all over the course and in fairways.
Shocked
All greens were in terrible shape. I love this course but what happen grounds keeper???
Not going back
The greens were horrible and they should have discontinued for unplayable greens. Also pretty shady they didn’t provide golf tees in the golf carts. Pennies on the dollar investment for your clients.
Greens in bad shape
Fairways great.
Other aspects of course all good.
Greens were horrible.
Very nice course
Now one of my favorites. Some of the greens could use some TLC but not as bad as some of their that I’ve recently played.
Great course but
Great course the fairways where perfect conditions BUT! The greens where in horrible condition there was only about 3 greens there where in decent shape the rest where mud with patches of grass
Horrible course
This course is horrible. The greens are the worst I’ve seen in Texas so far. Got fairways that are ok, and the bunkers don’t have any sand. I would not recommend this course to my worst enemy.
Fun Course with Challenges
Olympia Hills is a fun and challenging golf course The front nine offers very scenic holes with hills and dog legs. The two par 3"s are challenging as well. The back nine is less challenging yet and little more open but still offers very fun holes. The course has very nice practice areas including the driving range (with new synthetic mats), chipping and putting areas. As far as the course condition, the tee boxes and fairways are in great condition. The bunkers and rough areasare well groomed. However, currently all of the greens are in horrible condition. They are making efforts to repair them, but it may take significant time. the course did provide a discount because of the repairs taking place, not I'm not sure if the discount is offered daily. We did not use the restaurant, but the club house and facilities are very nice. The prices are fair and the staff or great.
