Really great course for the cost. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the back nine layout. Very scenic with all the different elevations.

I've played golf all over the world. I've been treated well at most of the courses I've played and seldom had a negative experience. This course has the nicest staff I have ever interacted with. The shop staff starter and cart attendant were second to none the best. Joe the starter might be the nicest human I've ver met.

The course was a great value. We played it out of season so the rough was dormant. I would love to play it during peak time. It was fun and challenging. Highly recommend.

The golf bag receptionist in the backdrop zone brought the cart to my car and gave me a free practice ball ticket. On arrival, it was a pleasant service. The fairway seemed to need water, but it was managed, and the green was in excellent condition. The bunker was also managed with soft sand. There were challenging holes, and the difficulty level of the green was rather difficult. It is not an easy course for those who have difficulty walking because there are holes with limited access to the cart. This is the most satisfying Texas golf in recent years.

Hadn’t played here in years, has a little more to offer via challenges than the Austin munis. We played through a couple groups for a sub 4 hour round, would recommend!

Played on new years. $60 hot deal at 10 am. (They let me out early by myself) Greens were in the best condition I have seen at Shadowglenn. (used to be a member) course was very green. Played 18 holes in. 2 hours and 30 mins. Only 1 other group on the course. It’s back on my list to frequently head to.

Haven’t played much golf in ATX, but went to sneak a round in after landing at the airport.

Called the pro shop and had a few asks that were met with easy yes’s and no problems. Ian and Marshall were awesome and super helpful.

Course was in great shape, greens were rolling pure and fairways well maintained.

Would definitely play here again the next time I am in ATX.

Fairways and Greens good conditions. Odd that the groundkeepers where spreading fertilize and watering tee boxes so late in the morning.

Great course just played this morning love the elevation changes. It is a pretty challenging course but it’s taken care of well. Only thing was this morning when I played the tee boxes really need cut

Had a great day at Shawdow Glen today. Cous was in good condition, greens played nice and fairways were good.

I would give a perfect review even with all the new construction, but the cart girls don’t take cash and I wish they would have a bigger shower and locker room and a steam room and a sauna make it charge more and I would pay it so I could play and then go back to work.

$109 to play a half take. Care of course please do better

Played last Sunday, 10/5 teeing off at 8:20, our PoP was 4hr and 20 minutes.

3 of us, paired up with a single. Nice guy - not a great golfer. Slowed us down considerably.

I’m a mid handicaper, play once a week and was having a career day. Ended up shooting a 78. Btw - I think the course rating/slope on this place is way too juiced. Not a lot going on with the greens. On hole 7, a marshall swung by and asked us to speed it up. I appreciate that always and told him we’d do our best. Mind you - we hadn’t seen a group within a hole of us on the entire front. And we were paired up with not a great golfer.

Here’s the issue - on the back, we saw no one behind us for at least a hole or a hole and a half. Never saw a single group. On 16, the marshall gives us an absolute earful. A lecture for 3-4 minutes. Slowing us down more. I asked him if anyone is behind us and the guy reaches out of his cart and grabs me by the shoulder to continue on with his lecture. At one point insinuating we might not be welcome back. Give me a break, buddy. We clearly weren’t the problem - no one was within a hole of us. Don’t touch me. Go find the problem and solve it.

The course itself is fine. Some interesting holes. Greens were in ok shape, decent tee box coverage. Not a lot of break in any putts. Didn’t hit into a bunker once so can’t comment on the sand. Facilities are good. Everyone else was nice but giving us a lecture on 16, slowing us down more is just a waste of time. We finished under 4 hours and 30 mins. I shot a 78 and no one was behind us all day. Focus on problems not irritating your patrons who are playing good golf.
