Lakewood Country Club

About
Lakewood Country Club of Naples sprawls across 52 lush acres that is home to an abundance of wildlife, including several different bird species. Located just outside of downtown Naples, Marco Island is just a few minutes away. The golf course snakes around four freshwater lakes, the sparkling waters contrasting beautifully with the native trees and shrubs that border the fairways and greens. The par-60 course is ideal for beginners, offering a round with a conveniently quick pace of play that will still put your short game skills to the test. Making putts is particularly challenging. Most of Lakewood Country Club of Naples's greens are elevated and you'll encounter water on 14 holes. There are also 28 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Every hole has a risk-reward scenario in play, which keeps the low handicappers happy but also gives new golfers the confidence to tackle the golf course without the fear that it's too much to handle.

Nice Short Course
Lakewood Golf and Country Club is a nice, short course that’s ideal for a quick round. The layout is fairly standard and doesn’t offer much in terms of unique design, but it’s playable and straightforward. The greens are quite small, which can add a bit of challenge to your approach shots. There’s no restaurant or bar on-site, which is a downside if you’re looking to relax after your round. Staff are courteous and helpful, and one of the highlights here is the consistently good pace of play. Overall, it’s a decent option for a casual round, especially if you’re short on time.
Short Condo Course.
Nothing much to say, here. This was an average Condo Course which takes about 2 hours to play. The facilities are run down and lackluster. The greens were OK…decent to putt and the few bunkers did have sand in them. Overall, blah and underwhelming.
Nice Par 3 course.
A great little course when you wanna play on a hot day.The staff was awesome!
Lakewood 4/13
Nice short course for practice of the short game. Even could hit driver on the four par 4 holes.
Finished 18 in 2-1/2 hours.
Fun par 60
Nice course to work on irons and hybrids. Small challenging greens. Staff are great Recommend it
Short, quick, and good practice course
Good course to practice your short game. Still able to hit a driver on four holes. Small greens and sand traps lowers maintenance costs. Can play 18 holes in 2-2.5 hours!
