Lakewood Country Club
About
Lakewood Country Club of Naples sprawls across 52 lush acres that is home to an abundance of wildlife, including several different bird species. Located just outside of downtown Naples, Marco Island is just a few minutes away. The golf course snakes around four freshwater lakes, the sparkling waters contrasting beautifully with the native trees and shrubs that border the fairways and greens. The par-60 course is ideal for beginners, offering a round with a conveniently quick pace of play that will still put your short game skills to the test. Making putts is particularly challenging. Most of Lakewood Country Club of Naples's greens are elevated and you'll encounter water on 14 holes. There are also 28 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Every hole has a risk-reward scenario in play, which keeps the low handicappers happy but also gives new golfers the confidence to tackle the golf course without the fear that it's too much to handle.

Challenging Executive course
Many challenging holes, not all over water, small greens, friendly staff.
Signature Course
I didn’t realize it was a signature course till we got there.. staff was extremely friendly and carts were nice. Actually worked out prefect because i had my wife along and it was her first time playing in over 3 months. I would recommend for people taking there kids who are just starting out to experience a teal golf course feel.
Overall okay
Only played 9 because we got tired of waiting on every shot. Course was very very backed up. Overall place was okay but they had too many players out.
Are you looking for a trace that’s way overpriced
Should be charging customers $20 a round. Not worth wasting your time or money on this track.
You get what you pay for
The course is a good one for helping your short game. Greens average but small. Traps good condition, Pro Shop unorganized. Carts fine, layout open.
basic PAR 3 course
staff friendly, very busy, very small greens, plan on 3.5 hours for your round. Plan to wait on each hole. It was a fun day for our 4 someone so it was OK. If you are a serious golfer, this is not a course for you.
Short course
We’ve played here many times. It’s affordable and the staff are friendly. We are okay golfers so the short course is challenging enough for us.
The pace of play is often slow, but there’s no real starters so you just get in the line and hope your not behind a foursome. What we have found the back nine is less busy.
Lakewood
All I can say is this is a gem of a par 60. Accuracy is key to make a good score. The greens are tiny but amazingly well maintained.
Very nice course
Always enjoy playing here. Challenging and good conditions
Fun course. Excellent for a sometime golfer. No pressure.
Nice relaxing round of golf
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Playing went very smoothly, without long waiting times.
The place was in good condition.
We will certainly play here again.
Super friendly, no pressure
Although they're arent any amenities to speak of the course is comfortable, staff friendly and no pressure. People are friendly and it was a fun experience.
A very enjoyable executive course
A nice course with well maintained greens. Nothing fancy, just a nice course
Short, kind of tricky, small greens....
This is a fairly typical executive course......three short par 4s on each nice, the rest a par 3s. The longest par 4 is just over 300 yards, the longest par 3 just over 150 years. Most are about 120 yards.
There is water, more on the second nine.......mostly lateral hazzards.
The greens are EXTREMELY small....mostly very narrow and kidney shaped. Hard to hit, and harder to chip to because there is too little green to carry a chip or pitch onto the green...must usually bounce it in. On the first 10 holes I was never further than 35 feet from the hole, and only hit 1 green in regulation!
