Lakewood Country Club of Naples sprawls across 52 lush acres that is home to an abundance of wildlife, including several different bird species. Located just outside of downtown Naples, Marco Island is just a few minutes away. The golf course snakes around four freshwater lakes, the sparkling waters contrasting beautifully with the native trees and shrubs that border the fairways and greens. The par-60 course is ideal for beginners, offering a round with a conveniently quick pace of play that will still put your short game skills to the test. Making putts is particularly challenging. Most of Lakewood Country Club of Naples's greens are elevated and you'll encounter water on 14 holes. There are also 28 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Every hole has a risk-reward scenario in play, which keeps the low handicappers happy but also gives new golfers the confidence to tackle the golf course without the fear that it's too much to handle.

Carts nicer than the course
Golf was definately cheap course had some tricky holes with combo of small and big greens. Take your own drinks and snacks and things unless ya want to rent clubs from the early ninety’s starve or be thirsty
Lakewood is a good place to golf.
Nice layout for a par 60. My wife, a beginner, really enjoyed her time on the course and wants to return soon.
Nice quiet older course that’s easy to play
Nice quiet older course that’s easy to play. The carts have not been too cared for and mens bathroom is terrible and needs to be remodeled.
Poor amenities
No ice or cold water at the outdoor machine. No beer or coolers for sale.
weather was brutal .. windy, temps in 40s ..still enjoyed the day.
Quick Fun 18 Holes
This is a great little course. I haven’t played in a couple of months so this Lakewood is a great place to get things moving again. Conditions were great. Course was in great shape. And got a round in a little over two hours. Really enjoyed it.

Just two players, so the pace was perfect. They have excellent carts. Best game to date!
Fun short course- poor condition
We were welcomed by the pro shop attendant, who was cranky. He told us that he always made Hot Deal players wait until their appointed tee time. He told that to my wife when she checked in. He told that to me when I went in just before teeing off. We both tried to chat it up with him each time we had an opportunity (like at the turn and when we returned the cart). He seemed to be in a better mood later in the day. Fairways and rough had lots of weeds. Tee areas were so-so. Not worth the price. We drove one hour to try it because my wife likes to play short courses. We won’t be back.

Had the best game. The pace of play is important is us. We didn't feel rushed.

We played in 2.5 hours. Very quick. Nice course. Good course for beginners
