Lakewood Country Club of Naples sprawls across 52 lush acres that is home to an abundance of wildlife, including several different bird species. Located just outside of downtown Naples, Marco Island is just a few minutes away. The golf course snakes around four freshwater lakes, the sparkling waters contrasting beautifully with the native trees and shrubs that border the fairways and greens. The par-60 course is ideal for beginners, offering a round with a conveniently quick pace of play that will still put your short game skills to the test. Making putts is particularly challenging. Most of Lakewood Country Club of Naples's greens are elevated and you'll encounter water on 14 holes. There are also 28 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Every hole has a risk-reward scenario in play, which keeps the low handicappers happy but also gives new golfers the confidence to tackle the golf course without the fear that it's too much to handle.

Way overpriced. Great deal of confusion at pro shop
Course condition fair at best
Had to wait for a golf cart

Made two tee times, Mon and Wed. Had to cancel Mon unfortunately, but looking forward to Wed. The problem is they won't refund my fee. They said only Golf Now app can refund money. I made the reservation thru Lakewood CC website. After many calls, and left messages, still no resolve. Suppose I'll have to dispute the charge on my credit card. Never had this problem before with a golf course.
I was late due to the traffics so I called earlier to notify and the staff was very kind and understanding my situation and we were able to push to later tee time.
It was ok
It was ok for during season in Naples. Short course so not able to play fairway woods or hybrid. Only pull driver an a few holes.
Short but nice
Very short course in pretty good shape. Our tee time was same as another group so they put us on the back nine. Had no wait. Enjoyed it. No amenities like a bar or anything.
Worth the Money
If you can’t afford or can’t get a tee time on one of the many resort courses in Naples, this little executive course lets you practice your shorty game. There are four or five par four holes that let you hit driver as well. Greens are tiny!
Golf at Lakewood
The weather was perfect, the company was nice and I had a good round. Play was slow but it is to be expected.

Overall a nice afternoon. A little hectic getting started. Staff tried hard to make everyone feel good. Play was kinda slow spent time waiting at most of the holes for the group in front of us. The fairways were tight with very little roll. Most of the greens were good. A few of the greens looked like the mowers had done donuts when turning the mowers causing bare spots. If you're looking to get out and golf, this is a fun course with a few water hazards.
Waste of time and money
Course is very short and narrow. If. Booked properly, it would be easy to finish in a few hours however this course was overbooked and therefore painfully slow. I wouldn’t waste my money or time at this course again.
