Lakewood Country Club
About
Lakewood Country Club of Naples sprawls across 52 lush acres that is home to an abundance of wildlife, including several different bird species. Located just outside of downtown Naples, Marco Island is just a few minutes away. The golf course snakes around four freshwater lakes, the sparkling waters contrasting beautifully with the native trees and shrubs that border the fairways and greens. The par-60 course is ideal for beginners, offering a round with a conveniently quick pace of play that will still put your short game skills to the test. Making putts is particularly challenging. Most of Lakewood Country Club of Naples's greens are elevated and you'll encounter water on 14 holes. There are also 28 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Every hole has a risk-reward scenario in play, which keeps the low handicappers happy but also gives new golfers the confidence to tackle the golf course without the fear that it's too much to handle.

Great course to practice short game.
I like this course. It’s a short course and but perfect for practicing your short game. Course is in good shape. Great value and reasonable price for in season. Staff is always nice.
Executive Value
Good condition, friendly staff, good pace and value for the money is spot on, just like your short game will need to be.
Rough Greens
The greens are very small and in very bad shape. It is a great course, if you'd like to work on your short game, but not your putting. If they would spend a little time making the greens nice it would be an excellent little course for your short game improvement. Never used a wood, four iron was all I needed, but I do hit my 4-iron about 225.
Nice little course
Played nine holes here one afternoon. Very enjoyable golf experience. Short course overall with narrow fairways. Accuracy far more important here than power. Fairways and greens in decent shape. Not a country club course by any means, but a nice way to spend a leisurely afternoon.
Basically its a fair Par Three with a few short Par 4s
Greens a very small. It is basically an 18h par 3 with a few par 4s and no Par 5s. Staff was friendly. I won’t be back
Fun course!
We arrived early for our 9:15 tee time and the friendly staff got us right out. The first couple holes seemed a bit easy but the tiny greens and water made it more challenging.. Our internet purchase included a cart but it was absolutely not necessary. Very short, easy course to walk. We caught up to a twosome who let us through and finished 18 holes in two hours!! Although by the time we finished they looked to be much busier..The only complaint would be that the bunkers are a mess and the toy sized rakes were useless. But if you want a low pressure, fun round of golf give Lakewood a try.
Well maintained executive course
Pretty, well maintained executive course you can play in around two hours. Good practice for your irons and short have and you can't beat the price.
Very rude lady
I was rudely treated by lady running front desk. No hi, No good morning just you better stay on cart paths. I arrived at 7:15 to try and get out before everyone else and she said not until 730 when everyone else arrives.. I said I haven’t golfed in a long time so I wanted to get out by myself and not in a foursome. I said I was concerned about covid so how about I go out at 7:25? She started yelling at me. If this is an employee they should be terminted. If this is the owner they should sell the course. Beware of older lady!
Great course and staff
Love playing here.
Great course to sharpen your short game skills and staff is super friendly
Great day for golf
Beautiful day and enjoyable round. Good condition make this executive course fun and challenging. The small greens make you think twice about you club selection and swing; as a little over or short can put you in the heavy rough quickly. Staff is friendly and the course is fun. Good value for the money.
If you want to work on your short game, this is the place
I wish there were more par 4’s and the greens were a little bigger
florida golf
100 bucks was a bit steep for this course but heck you’re in Naples land of multi millionaires, so golf ain’t cheap. Course conditions average, greens typical pace for Florida, but at least had grass.
Not sure I’d play again only if cheaper.
