About
Lakewood Country Club of Naples sprawls across 52 lush acres that is home to an abundance of wildlife, including several different bird species. Located just outside of downtown Naples, Marco Island is just a few minutes away. The golf course snakes around four freshwater lakes, the sparkling waters contrasting beautifully with the native trees and shrubs that border the fairways and greens. The par-60 course is ideal for beginners, offering a round with a conveniently quick pace of play that will still put your short game skills to the test. Making putts is particularly challenging. Most of Lakewood Country Club of Naples's greens are elevated and you'll encounter water on 14 holes. There are also 28 bunkers strategically placed throughout. Every hole has a risk-reward scenario in play, which keeps the low handicappers happy but also gives new golfers the confidence to tackle the golf course without the fear that it's too much to handle.

Getting better
This club has recently been purchased and from all I have heard I am looking forward to it being even better. The staff are great and so friendly. The greens staff have done a wonderful job keeping the course in very good condition during this transition period. Here’s hoping the new owners improve the social aspects of the club and bring it back to its former glory. I will and have recommended this course to friends and family.
Great Round
Today my buddy Paul and I played a really fast round of 18 holes in just 1 hour 53 minutes.
No Flight before us. We really liked it and we both shot a great/good score.
Sometimes this course gets very crowded but today it was really empty.
Good course to iron out your short game
Good little course for your short game, lots of holes around the 130 yard mark. Greens were pretty good and its beautiful area. No amenities, so bring your own things.
Get good practice
Played 18 at this nice executive style course in under 3 hours. It’s a par 60 so no par 5, only 3’s & 4’s and around 3000 yards. Nice place to get your practice in and get in and out. Very well priced as well around $40 with a cart
Super conditions
Very enjoyable round with surprisingly great conditions. Casual relaxed pace and just a fun day.
Challenging
Greens are very small that makes it different and challenging. Great to keep up or practicing on your short game
Slow
Constantly waiting for the group in front of us, through the front nine.
Lakewood is always an enjoyable experience .. good opportunity to sharpen your iron play. pace is usually steady and the pro shop personnel are friendly and helpful. I missed playing there this summer while they were closed .
Lakewood is easy and fun
Definitely a course to play regularly. 3 hour round 6 par fours and in great shape
First Time
Played back 9. My wife and I finished in under two hours playing behind a mixed couples Foursome that kept their pace of play moving very nicely. Front 9 was closed to wet conditions. Course was in much better shape than I anticipated. Clubhouse staff was very friendly. Will play again.
