Really appreciated the conditions on the greens
Really appreciated the conditions on the greens - have played some other courses in the area that are not so well maintained.
Like to play fairly close to New Smyrna - Hidden Lakes is definitely my pick
It is early season but course needs to green up.
This is a nice little course for high handicappers. Long hitters need to keep the driver in their bag. Fairway grass is thin but tee's and greens are a bit better. Grounds crew are working hard so give it a month and things should improve. Staff was very friendly and courteous. Play was a little slow but not unreasonable. Over all I enjoyed my experience.
Not For The Long Driver, Bring Your Short Game...
This is an easy to find public course, in fact it is right beside New Symrna CC, both of which get more than their fare share of traffic. That being said, the course, although quite busy was in very good shape with green grass everywhere, which is not the case everywhere this time of the year... The greens however, were very slow, and like a lot of public courses in this area, no one seems to carry a divot tool,,,fresh ball marks littered nearly every green. Why ? I fixed at least four and most holes more than that, every hole.... Straight shooters will have no problem negotiating their way around this course, but if you spray balls around bring along plenty...Leave your ball retriever at home the water hazards have no shallow edges whatsoever, if it's wet it's gone....
Nice course nice people
Not real hard but you need to be accurate. Greens a little slow.
Good Time.
Greens in great condition
Enjoyed the course. Excellent short game practice. Tees, greens and aprons in great shape. Fairways could use so work.
Graet Value!
Nice course and good location. GREAT value and SUPER starter.
Good course for the money
The course was in good shape. The greens were pretty slow. I would rather them be faster. The par 3s can be challenging from the back tees.
Very enjoyable course to play.
The wind was up which detracted from play. I will gladly play the course again and under more favorable conditions will give a fair review.
Excellent value
This is an interesting, picturesque course. Lots of water and trees made it challenging. The greens were in great shape. Great tee boxes for women. Electric carts and a variety of wildlife rounded out this incredible experience.
Course was in great shape.
Pace of play was excellent. The other times I played it pace is slow.
It is a pretty course.
This is our favorite place to play golf while we are in Florida.
Short but challenging
Great little course on Florida's east coast. Wind was up (20 mph) both days we played and lots of water to ponder. Greens were in mediocre condition and a bit on the slow side but an enjoyable track to play.
Nice course. Some very interesting holes..especially on the back nine
This was my second time playing the course. I have shot my best golf here. My wife enjoys this course. She feels that she has a chance to score well here. I would recommend this course to golfers who shoot above 90. A scratch golfer would find this course too easy
this course is close to my house and great
this is very easy and the price are good with commodities
Good course for double gender play.
The course was a little backed up on the front 9 because there are several par 3's that tie up the whole time but that is to be expected on a shorter course. We were very lucky on the back 9 because we were one of two groups playing late in the pm. Greens were in good shape but not all the players are fixing their ball marks. We had a good round and would go back. Great place for the women to take on the men as the course requires straight shots but distances that don't intimidate the regular golfer. Medium challenge and very friendly staff.
good
i was disappointed that i pay $15.00 for my round and their charge me $13.50 for my wife that ride with me.most disturbing was that we joint another couple that his wife was not charge anything.the owners of the golf course are< very find people> but i am question number of times that i play there the fairness of the attendees behind the desk? .
Panos
Course is laid out very nice
Got off with a terrible start, they water the course in the afternoon. We got on the first tee and the sprinklers came on, ran from them all afternoon. 2 of our foursome will not return.
Another good round.
Always a good greeting in the pro shop. Tee boxes, fairways & greens all in good shape. Several holes very scenic. Will look forward to next round at Hidden Lakes.
Hidden Lakes
My wife and I play here becuase it's a very short course. We usaully have the course to ourselves in the afternoon. We zipped thru the first 13 holes till we caught up to a school outing. Still very enjoyable course. Remember it's short...About 5800 yards from the tips. Not challenging to a average golfer. But fun to play with the wife.Hope this review helps.
