New Smyrna Golf Club

Enjoyed the day on the course. Starter and Server in restaurant were very friendly. The layout is fun and most of the course was in good shape. There were some bare spots, but that pretty common this time of year. I would recommend this course and will return.

This course was a pleasant surprise. We will probably play it again in our month long stay in the Daytona Beach area. However, watch out, the price of the carts was an unpleasant surprise. I think we paid $60 for my wife and I.. This is a flat and walkable course.

Good value due to Hot Deal but course appears to be short staffed like many others right now. Starter was hard to find and waited over 45 min for a cart. Got one just in time for tee time. Greens were thin with sparse growth. Flat layout offers many challenges due to numerous water hazards and extremely undulated greens.

The course was nice and in good shape. The pace was good, only had to wait on a few holes but we were paired up with a nice couple and had a fun day with them.

Shorter course but greens are very tricky.

Course was backed up and play was slow.

But that’s just because of the caliber of golfer which is expected at a municipal.

It’s a great track.

First time playing this course. Course was busy, there were no carts available even though I had booked a tee time. Our foresome had to wait ~15 mins past our tee time to get carts...as did the 2-3 groups behind us. It was curious that even though it was busy tee the starter let 2 twosomes go out with a foresome in between. No well managed course does that and keeps on schedule. Lastly, there were many tee boxes that were adjacent to previous greens...leaving the group on the tee open to getting hit with any balls hit long.

Pretty good shape .. fast greens .. would play it again..

Pace of play was slow, looked like the course was booked solid for a Friday afternoon with the sun shining… think many of the players had finished the work week at new Smyrna beach golf course

These are the fastest greens I have played in Florida.

Lot of crowned greens…. They were in excellent shape for the amount of play

Of all the courses I have played in the New Smyrna Beach/Daytona area, this course was in best shape. Super fast greens, smooth tees, it was a pleasure to play!

For a shortish course, it is quite challenging. The fast undulating greens makes it important to keep the speeds right ir you can end up farther from the hole after putting than before. Next time should go better knowing where the safe shots should be.
