Lake Diamond Golf & Country Club

Lake Diamond near Ocala is getting better all the time. It is a great value for the money and we play it often. The staff is very friendly and helpful especially Darren and Terry. We will keep going to this course often.

Played here before but didn't know the the whole area around the course is now a massive construction site.

Probably won't go back until it's all complete

Course very dry and lots of weeds. needs water, & weed killer. Greens fair shape. Good lay out just needs TLC.

Experienced the same situation as with my prior play there. Showed up early for 1 pm tee time and staff showed zero control over or concern for players matching up or RESPECT for the assigned tee time. I hurried to 1st tee 1/2 hr ahead of time to catch a twosome i was supposed to play with already teeing off. Yes, I like the course , but not the way Lake Diamond manages play. Singles signing up should beware of this happening.

We've played this course several times lately. The greens are very good. The fairways are improved, over several years ago, but still are a bit rough and have some bad grass. It is a challenging course. We like the back 9 better. It has some water and is generally in better shape. The carts are good. The staff is always friendly. We'll be back.

Enjoyed the round. Has some challenging holes. Will play again.

Fast check in. Free coffee and popcorn. Greens are fast and a challenge. Didn't have a straight putt all day. All benders.

There is construction on the front, I even called before and they claimed it was not part of the golf course. I would differ. Lots of ground under repair, heavy equipment, workers, etc. And the layout was strange - tight and narrow landing especially for second shots. I would not play this course again.

Has a lot of construction going on will be a very nice track when complete. The layout will test your ability bring all your clubs.

Greens and fairway in good shape greens were fast. We had a nice round would recommend.

The greens , sand and fairways were in great condition. Highly recommend.

A lot of construction on the front 9 so will be better when this is complete. However the course was not affected too much but cart paths were dug up in some areas. Back 9 is good. Greens in good shape.

When I left the club house it was misting(1:00pm) but it never rained and within an hour the sun was out. I started out along but on the 2nd hole joined up with a golfer who had at one time played professionally. This was his first time at lake diamond in 6 years and he was quite impressed by the improvements. The first 9 are quite changed because of the construction of 400+ new homes that were to start being built shortly. By the 6th hole we asked a couple who came up behind us if they wanted to join us. we were playing behind a foursome. As it turns out all of us had booked the 1pm Golf Now hot deal, So we were meant to be together. This course is really improving and it will be interesting to see how it changes over the next year. Right now the the first nine has a lot of construction rawness to it. The hole course now has a lot less trees along the edges and it is hoped that as the course improves the owner will spend the effort to clean the brush out and make it look more attractive.

The course is in excellent shape, greens were fast.

We so enjoyed our return visit to this much improved course. The greens especially are in excellent condition, and the whole course seems to have improved in its condition from last year. We look forward to playing here again next week.
