Ocala Golf Club

Stopped by this club years ago when in the area, but never got to play it until now! Why did I wait so long. This course is great! Staff, very friendly and helpful. My group and I loved the course, and can't wait to go back. Great elevations! Only real thing to look out for, " don't get in the rough"! You'll be lucky to find your ball.

Also wish there was one more teebox, somewhere around 6200 yards would be nice, but overall, the course is fantastic!

First time playing, learned to play from green tees! Course is wide open and pace of play was under 4 hrs. We will play again!

Regardless of the weather, this course is always in great shape. The fairways, greens and tee boxes are supper. When the rains come they may be a little behind on keeping the rough cut but overall the condition of the course is up there with the élite golf courses. It is always consistently great.

Great course in very good shape. One of the best maintained courses in the area. Fun track fir a great price.

Each hole was pretty different and challenging but not too difficult if you put the ball in play nice course overall for the price

It's been over three years since I've played here. Only because it is on the other side of town. It was great last time and it's still a great course. Well maintained for city course and challenging without being overly difficult. Greens a little slow but in great shape. Fairways beautiful. Beverage cart available and friendly. All-in-all a great round of golf in a great venue.

A fun course, with some challenging holes and some elevation changes. Not the longest course I've played, and most holes were forgiving for wayward tee shots. Very receptive, soft, rolling greens.(Rained twice while out on course). But geens rolled true. The fairways drained very quickly with the rain. Shot an 83 after a few weeks off. Looking forward to getting back there again to see if I can lower my 83.

The front nine features 3 Par 3's and 3 Par 5's. Lots of chances for birdies. I was disappointed that the on-course restrooms were closed, and I felt the rough was too long. This made it difficult to find errant shots and slowed pace of play. Greens were excellent and bunkers were full of fluffy sand. I can't wait until the Clubhouse re-opens and they can keep restrooms open. It's difficult to stay hydrated when the only facilities are at the turn.

I didn’t know what to expect playing here for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised. Really fun course with a cool layout. Well maintained. Greens were a little slow but seemed like they will be rolling really nicely in a week or two. Looking forward to playing here again.
