Ok for busy Florida Golf Course
Fairways were only fair. Greens were about the same.. Gonna play somewhere else next week. Once was enough.
Pleasant Round of Golf
We periodically visit this course and usually find it in good condition. No surprises today. We teed off on time. The greens and sand traps wee in very good condition. Not a course with a lot of trees but it does have quite a few sand traps to challenge you. They put in new sand a few years ago and the traps are still very good. We will come back again.
Great round of golf with friends. Pace was fast. Course in good condition. Overall great day.
Great course. Very good shape. Fun layout. Brought 3 first timers and they really enjoyed themselves. Worth the trip.
Fun Track
It’s a city parkland course with really well designed green complexes. Generous landing areas, make this medium length course tipping out at approx 6600 yds, a “bombers” course. Miss greens and your busy trying to make par and sometimes busy saving bogey.
Great course fir groups with mixed playing abilities.

Greens need work
Always loved the greens-----now they are horrible---after the investment they were great---they need to work on them
Ocala Golf Club
I have played this course a few times between 2012 and 2018 . The course was well kept through those years . the sand traps played well ! That is one area that i Can not sat about any course that I play . I play golf in a few different states , 3 to be correct . The closest to this course and it's conditions would be " the Shenvalee Golf resort " in New Market , Virginia .
Ocala Muni
Played yesterday with a couple of snowbirds from Dunkirk NY. The course is starting to show the heavy use on the greens and tee boxes now that everyone is down for the season. That said things moved along well and the weather was very good. A great day for golf.
Pleasant to play
A very 'tidy' course that is enjoyable to play. You could tell that they have done a little patching on the greens--they seem to be taking well. Fairways and greens average to good. Sand traps are always some of the best. Fairly easy course to play, but also enjoyable.
Design is excellent
Course overall was in good shape, however some areas on greens were patched & resodded. Also weed control on greens left pick marks and poor putting conditions
This course has a good layout , some elevation changes and generous fairways .
The course was in good shape , a couple of greens need TLC , bunkers are in good shape .
Nice surprise
Played on a Sunday morning - played in 3 hr 45 minutes - course was in nice shape, with nice elevation changes
Uncharacteristically Poor Greens
This is one of my favorite courses in my rotation. My reviews on this course have always been stellar. The first green on the front nine has always looked fake because it is always in such amazing shape. Not right now! I knew after seeing that first green in the shape it is in that the rest of the greens were going to be bad. They were. The worse condition I have EVER seen these greens in!! Love this course and I will be back but I am definitely going to give them a month or so in order to hopefully get these greens back into their normal condition. The fairways were fine, tee boxes were chewed up and the sand traps were great.
The last thing I would say is that I wish these courses would give people a heads up about the condition of the course when tee times are made. I would respect that so much more than letting me pay my money and THEN find out the greens are horrible. Just sayin
