Played on a Sunday morning - played in 3 hr 45 minutes - course was in nice shape, with nice elevation changes

This is one of my favorite courses in my rotation. My reviews on this course have always been stellar. The first green on the front nine has always looked fake because it is always in such amazing shape. Not right now! I knew after seeing that first green in the shape it is in that the rest of the greens were going to be bad. They were. The worse condition I have EVER seen these greens in!! Love this course and I will be back but I am definitely going to give them a month or so in order to hopefully get these greens back into their normal condition. The fairways were fine, tee boxes were chewed up and the sand traps were great.

The last thing I would say is that I wish these courses would give people a heads up about the condition of the course when tee times are made. I would respect that so much more than letting me pay my money and THEN find out the greens are horrible. Just sayin

This was our first time playing this course and the gentleman in the pro shop could not have been nicer. He was very informative and completely honest, going so far as telling us the course was in overall good shape but the greens needed work. The course was nice with well seeded fairways and tee boxes. The greens did need some work with most of them having a bad spot or two. When we finished we thought we would have lunch and a cold drink in the club house. I am writing this 4 days later and I have still not talked to a waitress. There was one lady who looked at us while texting on her phone and then she promptly went into the back. After waiting another 10 minutes we got up and left. Really a terrible way to end what had been a pretty good day.

Very fair course. Conditions were very good considering the time of year and 90+ temp. Greens were consistent and held quite well. Very friendly staff. Compliments to all!

Fairways in great shape. Greens are fast. Some holes just can't go for the pins.makes for a good round of golf and excellent price.

I play this course every week because its simply the best kept course in Ocala. The greens are impeccable, fairways are manicured, and you can tell the staff takes pride in how this course is kept. Big shout out to Richard for always being accommodating and doing a great job running the summer leagues.

Ocala Golf Club provides the most bang for your buck. We had an 8:30 tee time on a Saturday, it was busy but only after a couple of holes the groups stretched out enough to have a close to normal pace of play. The course conditions are the beat in the county and rival some of the private area courses. The layout is very player friendly allowing you to always be in the hole even after an arrant tee shot. Greens are well maintained and cannot be blamed for your missed putts.

Course is in good to very good condition from tee to green.... nice practice area ..... hard rain storm prior playing.... but course dried up real quick water was never a issue

Great condition. Aerated 2 weeks ago and couldn't tell. Greens were great, fairways great, tee boxes great. Staff was awesome and they had water all throughout the course to stay hydrated. Just all around amazing day of golf at an amazing course.

Greens complexes challenging, and Florida breeze adds to difficulty. Litle water in play unless you're really bad.
