Starter would not let us go out as a twosome since other twosome had same tee time, so we waited for them. Starter then put 2 twosomes behind us? Finished in 4 hours, although a couple balls rolled up to the greens while we were putting. Greens are fast and fringe is as fast/short. Fairways have typical Florida limited grass and balls will settle in the bare spots.

Not too excited to play there again.

course was in pretty great condition, fairways were nice and cut low so you get good run on your drives. greens were true and very fast. pace of play was pretty solid. completed round in a little over 3 hours.

A municipal course which is virtually packed everyday with very little supervision/oversight on etiquette.

Greens were in rough condition from a week earlier. All 18 pins were put in nearly impossible outer perimeter locations which in itself slowed play. Prior filled cup locations had sunk creating undulating, missed putts.

Fairways are thin & ground hard. Greens cut short and were fast. Constantly being pushed from groups behind even though we had to wait on every hole for multiple twosome walking the course.

We enjoyed this course. Staff was great. Greens were fast and undulating and in very good condition. Fairways lies were very tight but in good condition especially after raining on the previous day. It appears that the course drains well. This course would be a good challenge for mid to high handicappers.

I live close by this course and for the money it's not half bad. The greens could use some love but I get it that grass dies and bugs can destroy. But overall would play again.

Ocala golf club is becoming my go to course when in Ocala. Greens roll fast and true. Fairways are green and tight this time of year, traps are maintained and soft. The staff is friendly and informative. The course layout is nice, with elevation changes. I’ll be back nxt yr

While this time of year all FL courses struggle a bit, this course is better than average and one of the best we played in February. The staff was friendly, the pace of play was acceptable, and the layout is typical central Florida. We enjoyed our round there.

Friendliest staff I’ve ever encountered at a course. Detailed explanation of everything. Gave my gf a pink ball for Valentine’s Day. Layout is fun with some elevation. Couple 2-3 greens had some small areas that were spotty. But being worked on. The rest of the green and other greens were in great shape. Rolled true and fast. Beware of subtle breaks. They’re plentiful. Fairways in great shape. Definitely with a go. First time there and will definitely return when in area.

Checked in The pro shop said go to the starter to get your cart The starter handed me the keys and said take any cart, proceeded to the practice range which was going around the 10th tee which there was a back up and the path is only wide enough for a single cart so we couldn’t go to the practice range decided to go to the first tea early to see if maybe we could get off earlier, the first tea was closed. I asked the starter what’s up he said you’re teeing off on number 10 no notice ahead of time had to find this out by ourselves.. Really hate paying for 18 holes and only being able to play 17. It’s not a full round very much dislike that. The pro shop should’ve informed us ahead of time or at check-in even the starter mention nothing when handing us the cart keys..drove 55 minutes to play there. Very disappointed.
