Its was ok
Greens were lightning fast. I was very surprised about that and you could see from the puddles near the greens that they watered the greens regularly. Unfortunately, the tee boxes could have been better and the fairways were very thin, even the rough was thin. Admittedly the weather was cold for the previous two weeks before I played but the grass, Bermuda I'm told, was cut way too low. Every lie was a tight lie even in the rough. There was no forgiveness under the ball what so ever.. Still I've played at worse places for more money. It wasn't terrible and the layout nice. I wouldn't tell my buddies nonifvthey wanted to go back, but I'm not initiating the idea.
Good course
Played the course a few times now and it's pretty forgiving and in decent shape. Greens are fairly quick and most of the fairways are pretty wide.
Great Venue
Had the second tee time of the morning, the staff was absolutely amazing and displayed great customer service.
The course is in great shape. Greens were super fast rolled true. The over all course was a treat for the price. Finished the round in 3 hours and 10 minutes.
Best bang for your buck $29 on GP
$29 18 cart and range ball through Golf pass . Fairways were a little tight but with grass. Greens were fast and challenging.tees were average. But would go back in a second for that price. Paid twice as much for much worse in the last 2 weeks. Played blue tees , 13 HCP
Welcome to the Muni
From tee to the green and bunkers this was in great condition. Greens rolled nice. Would definitely play again
Nice muni
Of the three courses played this week, I enjoyed this one the most. Course appears well cared for and the staff was great. Pace of play awesome. This will be my go to when in Ocala.
Great fun layout
Ocala golf club is a fun course with decent conditions. Driving range is ok, tee boxes need some attention along with fairways. Course is extremely wide open. Now it’s been a little chilly so that probably has a little to do with it. Greens were the best part. Good shape for the most part and very very fast which I prefer. Staff is awesome. Friendly and courteous. Will play again but hopefully it gets better. Not bad but not a #1 choice. Have a couple of buddies that like playing here so I will go if they do. My favorite part was the layout. Great layout with some beautiful par 3’’s
