Ocala Golf Club

Good 18 holes all differing. Not a lot of water or difficulty, but greenside bunkers require a skilled shot out to clear a 2-3 foot or higher wall. Some greens were in rough condition and around greens not yet grown in & sandy, but overall very enjoyable. All-beef hot dog was excellent! Very nice staff! Definitely play again.

Muni course with great practice facilities. Course layout was fun and open. Hole 2 was closed for maintenance, but fairways were decent and most the greens rolled good and challenging. For the money it was worth playing over a lot of rough courses for double the cost.

I would frequent this place if I lived in Ocala.

5 tee boxes. Challenging for a mid handicap. Elevations not flat. Some water. Good value.

Great layout - tees, fairways, and traps good. Greens are SUPER FAST so many 3 putts. Fairways and greens are hard so lots of roll and 3 foot putts are tough to read. One of the courses on the Florida Historic Golf Trail from the 1930's. Get a good rate from Golf Now and enjoy this historic track.

One of the holes was closed due to maintenance but staff never informed us before we started.

"Played a round in January, so of course, winter conditions were in full swing—literally. But surprisingly, the greens were in great shape, rolling smoother than my putts (which isn’t saying much). At just $28 for the round, it was an absolute steal—cheaper than a sleeve of Pro V1s and definitely more enjoyable than finding them in the woods. Great value, even if my scorecard disagrees!"

Everybody was friendly - staff and fellow golfers.

Course condition should improve after winter.

Greens were lightning fast. I was very surprised about that and you could see from the puddles near the greens that they watered the greens regularly. Unfortunately, the tee boxes could have been better and the fairways were very thin, even the rough was thin. Admittedly the weather was cold for the previous two weeks before I played but the grass, Bermuda I'm told, was cut way too low. Every lie was a tight lie even in the rough. There was no forgiveness under the ball what so ever.. Still I've played at worse places for more money. It wasn't terrible and the layout nice. I wouldn't tell my buddies nonifvthey wanted to go back, but I'm not initiating the idea.

Played the course a few times now and it's pretty forgiving and in decent shape. Greens are fairly quick and most of the fairways are pretty wide.

Had the second tee time of the morning, the staff was absolutely amazing and displayed great customer service.

The course is in great shape. Greens were super fast rolled true. The over all course was a treat for the price. Finished the round in 3 hours and 10 minutes.

$29 18 cart and range ball through Golf pass . Fairways were a little tight but with grass. Greens were fast and challenging.tees were average. But would go back in a second for that price. Paid twice as much for much worse in the last 2 weeks. Played blue tees , 13 HCP
