Riviera Country Club

Pleasantly surprised that this was an old style course but in very nice condition. Looks like they are having a problem with a few greens but even those putted nicely. It was not crowded when we went so we were able to golf without any holdups which is so unusual these days . We do plan on returning. Much better than a lot of the highdollar courses.

This was the first time we played this course.We enjoyed it.Most of the greens were good and rolled fast.There were a few that were in really rough shape.The fairways were like most of the Florida fairways,pretty good.We will play it again.

Enjoyable round of golf. At a nice course.

On the day we played the grounds crew were finishing sanding the greens. On the back nine it was not uncommon to have a sand rooster tail on long putts.

That was the only bad part of our experience. After a couple days of rain I think this problem has been greatly reduced. We will play this course many times in the future.

Course was in good shape, greens were excellent. Had a great day.

with this said the course is a challenge. I played with a par golfer who said it will be a favorite in the future. In fact we have played it 3 times we enjoyed it so much.

Interesting hole layouts and not repetitive. Greens are big smooth and faster than most in this area. Turf was in good shape. Good value for the price.

Poor drainage, poor cart paths, poor fairways. The greens were pretty good.

The course is not as easy at it first appears. Some holes are straight forward but others if you are not accurate there will be tree 's to contend with.

Played a friendly round with some nice people followed by a lively time at the lounge. If you're in the area play it.

I like this course. Always in great condition. The staff is friendly and helpful. Cant wait to play here again.

You'd think that on Christmas Day the staff would be friendly. Not the case here. Starter was unfriendly and made me feel like a bother that I
A: was a golf now player and
B: a single when I made a tee time and was told in the shop that there was another GN guy already checked in. Would never play here again!

great fairways a couple greens they were working on but playable. nice restaurant and friendly people. will play again only if I get deal on golf now. just a little to pricey for walk in off street

We were staying in Daytona Beach and liked the course so well we came back and played it again the next day. Very friendly staff and very good food.

Course was in great shape. Fairways and tee boxes were in good shape. Greens were excellent. Very consistent.

Old school traditional style clubhouse which has a lot of character, you don't see this too often and I liked the fact they have kept it original. The staff in the pro shop was friendly and gave us tips tabout the course before play. The Greens here are very fast, so fast they tell all of there customers before play, they said they had to slow them down a bit. Carts were in great shape, sand boxes were hard, Tee box's were nice and the fairways were in excellent shape. Didn't see a cart person for food or drinks all 18 holes. The one BIG issue I had when playing there at 730am the day we played was they didn't seem to plan and coordinate the grounds crew schedule at all. In fact some of them didn't even seem to care people were playing golf. We had either a weed wacker or a lawn mower following us or already at almost every hole. It was the most annoying experience. Some of them would turn the engine to idle when putting or hitting most would just keep on cutting like no one was around. I actually had seen an older couple putting on one of the back 9 holes while the grounds crew was doing circles around them on the green with his lawnmower.... What the heck? All this distraction deffenitaly made it a frustrating day, Especially at $73.14 for 2 players. Make sure to call in advance So this doesn't happen to you when you play!

Riviera CC has the coldest beers! The course is narrow, but in good condition and the greens are fast and true. We had lunch the day we played (very good quality and good prices). We actually returned for breakfast the next day because the food was good and we liked the "English" atmosphere in the clubhouse. Compact course - good for a quick round.

Course was in great shape enjoyed playing, but hated the greens. They were hard and fast. Didn't hold anything. Did not get rewarded for good shots to the green. All in all I liked the course and would play again

Rivera country club is a great play. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed playing this course very much.
