Wet conditions but very playable
Wet conditions and cart path only made for a longer day but the course was very playable. Lots of wildlife too on a beautiful day.
Course in great shape
The course is in great shape and well maintained - including rough and bunkers. The practice area - range, short game area, and putting green all is excellent condition and accessible. The pro shop is stocked and staff friendly.
Nice Friday afternoon at Sandhill Crane
Course is in very good shape. Greens run true. Pace of play was outstanding. 3 hrs 20 mins for our three-some. Staff very friendly. A very good way to end the week.
Absolute must play
Arrived almost 2 hours early because I was in the area prior to my tee time. Hit the range and the starter asked if I wanted to go out early with a 2 some and said sure. Course is absolutely gorgeous. There isn't a blemish from tee to green. Tee boxes are great, fairways are nice and greens are perfect. Extremely fast I will add. Tight course for the most part but very gettable. Don't play crazy and play smart and you will shoot a nice number. Played the tips as I always do and it was great hitting irons off the tee sometimes vs driver's. Must must must play this course. Will absolutely be back very soon
Great value w/ very good conditions. Other than 2 tricked up hole very good. Absolutely would play it again..
extremely crowded
The course was so packed that my wife and I decided against playing. The course had a woman's group tee off from 8 to 10 am and a pro tournament afterwards until 12:30. We were scheduled to follow the pros but decided to leave because the pace of play was so slow.
Awesome track
Really spectacular condition. I don’t think I saw a single bare spot. Tough but fair.
Shot makers type of course
This is a nice track, with a tough layout. There are plenty of dog legs both left and right, as well as plenty of water. You have to make quality shots to put yourself in a position to score well. The rough is just that, rough. You will most likely have to fight the wind too. Play from the fairways, and you have a chance for birdie, or par. From the rough, you're playing for bogey.
A Must Play
One of Palm Beach's finest course's and I do play them all!
A challenge from every tee, don't think about the back tees unless you are a 7 handicap or better!
greens
the fairways were beautiful! The GREENS were really slowwwwwwwwwwwwwwww. I Know " We are protecting them for the season." I hate to hit my Putter like an iron! Oh Well.
Enjoy the SEASON!!
Great shape
The course was in great shape. Its a difficult layout with water or out of bounds on almost every hole. This can slow down play. Took about three hours to play the back nine.
Upgrades are excellent
New upgrades at the Nash are great. Entire course in great shape. Staff always top notch and friendly. Palm Beach National, the place to be baby!!
Great course
Only 6300 from the tips but great Layout and greens. Nice club house, carts and very friendly. Great scenery on course. Only complaint was I played as a single for 18 holes and caught a group on 5-6 and pace stopped. It took a full hour to play 16-17-18. A 4 hour round as a single at 2pm stinks.
For the First Time, I Had an Enjoyable Experience
I ran into a few problems on the long ride down but staff was very cordial and had no problems getting out later than tee time. For a first time player I ran into some trouble hitting into spots that I thought were safe. A map of holes would have been nice. A little confusing navigating around as markings weren't real clear until you were on top of hole. As for the course in great shape and the tricky wind made for some tough shots. I found course quite tight but that could be because of the unfamiliarity of the course. Highly recommended for an enjoyable round with very friendly staff. Thank you
If you like grumpy old men....
this course is over rated, expensive, and customer service by grumpy old men who don't know the words "thank you".
