I have played it a couple times each time seems better good staff differently looking forward to playing it again soon
Marshal needs to find a new job
The course itself was ok. Greens weren’t in great shape, but overall it’s a decent place to play. The issue was the Marshal. He is (when we were there) an angry, 40 something year old African American man. There was one other group on the course so they were not busy, and he was rude at the start. After the front 9 my brother wanted to go to the pro shop to buy a club ($250) and the Marshal yelled at him as he went up the ramp. Turns out they were closed, but instead of yelling and questioning someone, politely tell them the shop is closed. I will not come back due to the way the marshal acted in the two times we spoke with him.
Pleasantly surprised
avid golfer, and live about 2 miles from this golf course, which I’ve lived here for now, two years. The reviews just really kept me from even coming over here to take a look. The other day I was out on a long walk, and I walked up onto the course, and I said this place isn’t so bad. I’m a single digit handicap and I’ve never seen the course until today. Now realize there’s no gps on the cart. There’s way too much Saint Augustine grass on the course. But there’s a decent spot on the Teebox to put your tee. And most of the fairway is playable. Most of the greens are ok but a few have bare spots. If you roll the ball in the fairway to a decent spot really gives you no advantage. Roll the ball on the green to a decent spot to putt from. I had nine birdie putt‘s today and one eagle putt and I had three birdies out of that. Never played a course before and it is quite wide open. The front course guy. Jimmy is great very nice. And the cigar smoking, Ranger rolled around with a very sparse amount of golfers but was still keeping it real. I was even on the front and ended up with a 77. I doubled 18 because I didn’t realize I could hit my five wood without worrying about the lake. And I started playing at 3 PM for $18.11 silly Willy worth the money and the blemishes on the course really don’t interrupt your game.
Better than the first couple times I it really improved will play it again
