Martin Downs Country Club - Osprey Creek Course

2nd time playing and conditions haven't really improved...but they could be worse.

Disappointed in the conditions at Martin Downs at this time of year. The fairways and greens need significant maintenance. The bunkers need sand and grooming. Course was in much better condition in 2023 and 2022. The round played quickly at just under 4 hours - only good news. The staff are still excellent. Hopefully the course conditions will improve.

You can't get better for the money. Staff friendly and always enjoy.

Course has improved from 2 years ago. Still needs some work, but this is an enjoyable course to play.

Course is slowly improving, it is obvious the new management is working hard to bring this course back to what it once was. Workers all over course working on green and bunkers. My guess is by next year it will be greatly improved. Friendly and helpful staff, keep things moving, have played here a lot and always play 18 holes in just over 4 hours.

Wide fairways, mounds, many sand traps, greens hard to read

The greens were full of sand and not aerated.

No driving range.

Fairways were hard as a rock in need of water

Courses in mediocre shape my ankles got eaten alive by fire ants. They need to spray for ants there.

Courses getting better needs more green work great layout

Having played this course dozens of times, but no rounds since Covid began, I was very disappointed in the condition of the course. The greens used to be perfect and the fairways were immaculate. Four years later, it’s not in very good shape. The Fairways show a lot of weeds and all of the greens have rough spots. The greens roll well but they are nowhere as good as they were a few years back. This used to be one of my favourite courses in Florida. A big disappointment now.

Really like the layout. Just wish they would give more attention to the condition of the fairways
