Martin Downs Country Club - Osprey Creek Course

The staff and facilities are great. Course conditions are not improving. Bunkers have no rakes, weeds everywhere. Needs a lot of work!

Not like other swampy (target golf) courses in Martin County. Martin Downs has a really nice traditional layout. However, the conditions made the course almost unplayable. So many weeds and crabgrass. Unkept all around. The greens have a lot of bare spots and weeds. The rough is just very long weeds. There is no fringe; just more weeds. My electric cart was on it's last leg; barely moving by hole 15; lurch and stop, lurch and stop. The scorecards were photocopied to save money. What was once probably a great course is now a very sad course.

The tee and greens are ok. But the fairways are missing a lot of grass.

I was surprised to see how the course conditions had deteriorated!! At one time it was a very nice course to play! I hope they get back to taking care of it like in times past!!

This course is in terrible condition. Not worth the $25 we paid.

Nice layout but very poor condition. Staff was great, nice clubhouse. Cart guy said they’re working on getting it in shape.

The course could be good needs a lot of maintenance and upgrades. Staff was super friendly.

Absolutely love the layout just wish they put more time into fixing all the bad lies in the fairways and surrounding areas. Greens are decent and roll pretty true. Bunkers are decent as well. Tee boxes are level but again missing alot of grass. Just needs good old fashion elbow grease and would be one of the areas best courses. I recommend this course but with a warning.

The tee boxes are horrible and the fairways are any better. The greens were bumpy and overgrown in places. There were weeds growing all over the greens. Staff is awesome. This time playing, we did not have to wait on any holes because of slow play.
