Martin Downs Country Club - Osprey Creek Course

My only critique is there should be visible and more yardage markers.

Before the recent sale, the course was allowed to deteriorate. The new crew are doing great.. the course is blurry green. The greens are fairly nice, rolling true, but poor grass in some areas.

They look like they are working on the traps, much better than before, but still needs better drainage and more sand.

Fairways are improving, but still some weeds, bare spots, and st Augustine grass.

The tee boxes are very rough, but I see signs of re-soding..

Another 6 months should bring the course in nice condition.

Good course for money. Greens kind of rough... Not a $50+ dollar course though. Overall great round. Nice open layout. Not too difficult. Staff was super friendly.

Drove up cart guys were great,, said please pay after your round computer issues, not a problem.. The driving range is a backyard 10'* X 12' driving net... Then went to the practice green, holy cow it needs some work. The greens on the course were in much better shape. Finished our round went up to pay and it actually took 25 minutes, the line was out the door... Never Again!

Excellent course for value. They are improving the course.

I love the play of this course. It's a shame I quit playing here due to the lack of care and maintenance prior to the sale. I figured with all the rain and new management things should be a lot greener and they were. The course is definitely coming back still needs a lot of work but is more playable today.

You can tell they have new owners, place plays great!
