Buffalo Creek Golf Course

The Marshall needs to be doing his job. The two foursomes in front of us were very slow. It took us 5 hours to play 18.

Played late morning weekend round during busiest part of tourist season. Finished in 4.5 hours, which is better than usual pace here for this time of year. Greens were in decent condition but did have major problems on parts of greens on holes #4 and #16. Overall conditions otherwise (fairways/ rough/traps/tees) were fine and we were able to play ‘ball down’ for the entire round (except for the two greens mentioned above). Staff members here are among the friendliest and accommodating anywhere, including: Anthony & Dennis (carts), Wendy (inside/registers), Mike (ranger), + Andrica & Sven (snack shop). Would recommend this course (especially at it’s price point) and look forward to returning soon.

Somewhat challenging, not too difficult. Course was ok but the greens were in bad shape. Staff was friendly. We played in 4 hours/15 min.

Upon arrival and talking to the starter, he warned us about a group of 11 golfers that were quite drunk and they were trying to push them along but it really didn’t affect us at 2:48pm on a Saturday. We were slowed down quite a bit on the front nine but that large group left after 9 holes and we had a nice round til we hit 4 young men who thought they were on tour and took forever but we went around them and missed the last par three so we could finish before dark. We had a nice day and played with two brothers originally from TN. The fairways were nice but some of the greens looked a little beat up but overall a good experience.

It took us five hours to play 18 holes. The two foursomes in front of us were extremely slow. Not once did they consider the golfers behind them. We never saw the Marshall during the full course of play.

Hopefully, the pace will be better mext time.

The course is fun to play and well maintained, with noticeable improvements around the tee boxes. All but two greens in very nice condition.

Snack bar backups have caused my groups to leave empty handed three times in the past week when trying to get refreshments at the turn. That’s 4 to 8 beers and 4 hot dogs x 3 visits in lost revenue! Guess we need to bring our own beer/gatorade and food!

Challenging layout. Maybe not the prettiest place in terms of extras but the playing surfaces are good.

The conditions are as good as any other public course this time of year, or even a little better. Yes, there are patches here and there that aren’t perfect…. But for under $50 in the afternoon, with a cart… it’s a great value.

Couple of fun unique holes. Good choices for length of course. Great staff.

Greens were a little furry, but there grass everywhere. Wide open fun place to play

First the bad ---- many of the greens were in less than ideal condition, especially on the front nine. There was an awful lot sand on many of the greens. The good ---- the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Special thanks to the waitress in the clubhouse who kept the bar open so we could have some beer after our round. That was very nice of her.

Some of the greens need healing. Fairways are good.

If you like fairways that aren't shaved hardpan, you will love these.I did. Greens and chipping areas around them in good shape too!
