Buffalo Creek Golf Course

I played 18 holes in three hours, which is what wanted to do. Better practice playing 18 holes than going to the range. It is why I go to Buffalo Creek.

Challenging course with a great layout. Cart staff is the only things that need improvement. Not the type of service I am used to.

The course was waiting on a new mower to cut the rough properly. Balls were getting lost within a few feet of fairways!

The course is and has been pretty good shape. Aside from the typical work being done on greens this time of year, it’s been in nice shape. I gave the course conditions only 3 stars because the rough is ridiculously long! Only feet off the fairway you can’t find your ball. Areas where you might be off the mark a bit swallow up

balls when typically you would have a shot out of. Bring plenty of balls.

The ruff was not cut for days or weeks. Lost two ball off the first tee just off the fairway. Course looks like they are about the shut it down

Not sure what is going on, but this is the worst condition I have seen the course in over the last several years. Some of the ponds are extremely low which is surprising given all the rain we have had this summer. The rough was high, but this was understandable given the recent rains and soft conditions. The cart and pro shop staff were very friendly. I hope they can get things turned around, because this is a nice track to play.

Grass was not cut. Lost balls in areas that should have been cut. I did not enjoy the round.

A little disappointing this course it's late at several times as iffy when it's in good shape it's a great cost to play right now The only hole that I found that was complete with greens and fairway t boxes was whole number one otherwise needs plenty of work in the rough as crazy although it's been raining a lot I understand that pot but the fairways are not good and neither of the greens Good luck in the future I will be back but I'm going to give you time to make repairs

Course was ok, but will be better when the rough is cut

The only thing missing from the course was cows. Greens were below average, burnt spots on most holes, tee boxes shaggy. The grass was a foot high or more anywhere off the fairway. (Not a links course) Any ball hit off the fairway was gone. Very coarse and high grass and scrub around all hazards sand/water. I’ve played the course in the past and it’s never looked this bad. A city course less than five miles away looked like Augusta compared to this. (I played both this week). Very poor groundskeeping. You can’t blame the weather when other nearby courses look much better.

Course was so out of shape. Lost countless balls in the rough from it being super over grown and thick. Greens damaged too

Pace of play was very good!

A few greens and tee boxes need maintenance!

Lost more balls in the ruff being that it was long. Not worth the price I paid because of this. I would have played another course. I am a returning golfer as I like the course layout and the friendly staff. I'm sure at some point the ruff will be cut, but before I reserve a T-Time. I will make sure the ruff is in fact cut.

They haven’t mowed in quite some time. Kids finding your ball goodbye if you ball rolls off fairways or greens.

Me and a buddy recently played here and the course is fun and the layout is good but the grass in the rough was way to long and we struggled to find our balls even if they were just a few yards from the fairway.

You go from fairway to 8 inch rough. If you hit the ball 5 yards of of the greens you will lose your ball. They need to take better care of the course. They should charge only $20 for 18 in that condition

pace was slow at times, especially when singles ahead would play 2 balls. could use a Marshall on the course.

I like the layout of this course. The office staff I spoke to on arrival is, just not very talkative and answers questions in a very terse manner. The cart staff is very friendly and cordial. The course itself is not very well kept, minimal fairway grass to hit off, it just does not live up to its rating as far as other courses in the area. While the cost of playing Buffalo Creek was very economical, I only play this course maybe once every season because of the ‘grass less’ fairways and the office staff,
