Buffalo Creek Golf Course

I’ve never been more disappointed than I was today. There’s no reason to spend 1 hr out of a rd looking for golf balls. I’m talking golf balls that HIT the fairway and maybe roll off no more than 2 feet. Lost 6+ balls that at any time would be easy to find. Rain is no excuse. No other course has this issue. Fix it…..

Buffalo Creek is a great course to play from beginner to advanced. Staff is nice, pace of play is decent. If I was to mention one negative as minor as it is, the rough just off the fairway and greens is pretty high right now. It did rain so that may be why, however it was hard to track any ball that was not directly in the fairway.

Hit the ball barely off the fairway multiple times and couldn’t find ball because the grass is up to your knee. Greens also need to be mowed.

Now that the seasonal rain has started the fairways are growing. Hopefully the staff will keep up with the mowing - lots unmown patches along the fairways when I played. Nice carts. No water in the coolers.

Dry Summer so Greens were good considering the dry weather. I enjoy the course layout and professional staff.

Course was in pretty poor shape. Lots of burnt out fairways. Tee boxes were bare or shaggy. Not much in between. Greens in front were oversteered. It was priced accordingly for the conditions. I’m sure it will be back in shape soon.

I have played this course many times in the past. Now I am a resident of the area and this is the first time I played the course in the one year since I’ve moved here. I was impressed that the course improve their carts, The last time I was here, the seats were torn and in bad shape this time the seats were excellent. The course itself, however, was not in the best condition. Lots of dry patches with no grass at all. Of course there’s nothing the course could do about the lack of water in the ponds, but because of that the aesthetics of the course are affected. The front nine, which on this day became the back nine all of the greens were being sanded so while I understand, that’s a necessity it’s always unfortunate when you play a course you haven’t played in a while to then have to play the greens in that condition. Overall on a scale of one to 10 for the day I will give the course a rating of four. I’ve played it when I would’ve rated it an 8, but on this particular day, four is about the best I’d rate it.

I enjoy going to this golf course especially on week days. The hot rates are amazing here because it is a fairly expensive course. I will play here for 20 bucks anytime!

It's good to see the fairways and the ponds back to some degree of health. We got stuck behind a threesome that kept landing in zones where you shouldn't be looking for golf balls. They often spent 5, 6, 7 minutes or so searching for someone's ball... or just shopping.

They created a backlog so long that the two singles behind me caught up and now we're all waiting as a threesome..

It was good to see # 10 & 17 greens coming back. Nice job!

first off let me explain me not recommending the course. The reason is that the greens were extremely slow on any type of putt, uphill, downhill, it was horrendous. You can definitely play the course; my suggestion is that you wait a few weeks.

I was chastised by the guys in my group, because I picked the course for us to play. Other than the greens, the course is in decent shape and worth playing if you're a hacker. I have always enjoyed playing Buffalo and will return in a few weeks.

They started doing a bunch of work to this course but now it’s just like they decided to give up. It looks like crap! It won’t be long before this place goes out of business if they don’t get it together.

New management is doing great job improving conditions. Need to improve pace of play, always well over 4 hr rounds due to slow play. Even saw my first group of six yesterday. Luckily was not behind that debacle.
