Buffalo Creek Golf Course

The course was in need of cutting; the grass on tee boxes and fairways was very long. Some of the greens were a bit rough.

I've played here a bit, but recently we've had two tee times where we waited over 30 minutes for carts because they overbooked. This made us unable to even finish our round the last time. Overall, with the price hike for snowbirds, not a great choice.

Awful pace of play with Carr Path Only (CPO). Conditions weren't bad enough to warrent CPO. Probably could have done 90 degrees. Everyone in front of us always wanted to hit it long off the tee without being able to do it. Somehow that has to be enforced by the course. Waited on every hole!! The course itself is in much better conditions with bent grass in the Fairways, a huge upgrade from the local grass. The greens are still cringy with their painted greens. I only play here with nowhere else to go....

Over booked slots, still allowed walk-ons. Didn't manage the pace well. Took my group of 3, 5 hours 20 minutes to play all 18.

Working on my game after shoulder injury, and throughly enjoyed my round at Buffalo Creek.

Had a 2:00 tee time. All the carts were out so didn't tee off until 2:30. Need better group management, some groups were a two some and 2 singles thus three carts. Two some going out in the am our 4 some had to wait for 2 twosome groups to finish.

This course is fun to play. It is fairly open (fewer lost balls and faster play). I like how each hole has a unique feel to it…. really a great designed course. There was a lot of variety from elevated greens on one hole to tricky dog legs over water to long holes adjacent to water etc. The course has some problem with green maintenance. It did not affect play for me…. Others in my group took relief. Last year the greens were burnt out in some areas on the green. This year the greens had lots of heavily sanded areas….3/4” thick sand in select areas…. I’m assuming to help repair green issues. The course has a driving range which is a positive

Went out with another single and picked up a 3rd at the 3rd hole. Greens were fast, and course was in pretty good shape.

Back nine we flew as the 4 some in front of us left at the turn.

Will be back before heading home !

Generous fairways but greens have slopes on them!

All in all I would definitely play it again.

Tee boxes and fairways good.

Greens fair but a little rough in spots. Painted dark green with fertilizer.

Newer carts.

Fun with no houses on course!

Recommend and good value if priced under $50

Some greens, especially the 4th, are not entirely green; but still playable!

I recommend this 4+* course.
