About
Honoring the wishes of Lela and Charles Hilton, Legacy Golf Club is named in honor of their beloved son "Chip." He started playing daily at age 9 with a genuine love and excitement for the sport. He was on the Bay High School golf team, apprenticing with golf pro-Kenny Lind and made golf his vocation. As a professional golf instructor, he taught his students invaluable life lessons, emphasizing that golf is not a game of perfection but a comeback. He also believed golf was more than just a game; it was full of essential life skills such as patience, perseverance, determination, and overcoming obstacles and setbacks.
The golf club, established in 1965, is a championship course with challenging greens designed to test golfers with even the sharpest short-game skills. The fairways are generously sized with lakes and white sand bunkers that fiercely guard the elevated greens. Players should be prepared to use every club in their bag. The golf course is challenging but fair and enjoyable, making it a good test of skill without inciting frustration. Its playability, enhanced with three sets of tees, has made it one of Florida's most popular tracks. Legacy Golf Club also boasts extensive practice facilities, including a lighted driving range, chipping green, expansive putting green, Executive Course, and Bar and Grille.

Legacy Golf club
Great course, open enough for an amateur with some tricky holes for the scratch golfers. Greens and fairways were in great shape, would definitely play again

Overall a nice course in good shape. Unfortunately, the course was very wet and restricted to cart path only. On a day this hot it made overall playing conditions difficult.
Very nice
Course was in great shape. Fairways and greens both both really well maintained. Crowded and slow pace of play, but that’s to be expected in a vacation destination like PCB. I used the extra time to find lots of balls 🙂
Juneteenth day off
Booked tee-time so my wife could enjoy her holiday. Staff was friendly and helpful from the time we parked the car. Course was in great condition. It was our first time playing here so we made some poor club selections but a very nice course. We’ll be back for sure.
Thought the course was a little pricey for a midweek round. Staff was very friendly and punctual. Driving range does not allow drivers or Fairway woods. Overall, course conditions were good, but had some areas under repair on greens.

(Played the course while on vacation) conditions were very solid, staff was nice and welcoming. Had a great experience!! Will definitely play again next time I’m out that way.
Fun Golf Experience
We always get matched up with great people when my son and I play at Legacy Golf. Nice staff and fun course to play.

Everything was very good however there is not much difference in price between 18 holes or 9 holes.
Very nice, good value for money
This course has a high end feel. Grounds were in GREAT shape. Pretty wide fairways helped with score. Staff was very helpful in adjusting tee time. Italian sub from 19th hole was good. Relative to other courses, it is in a convenient location just off 98.
Long challenging course at a good value
Played Legacy twice in the last two days with a group. Everyone was very satisfied and impressed with the course. Challenging course because every hole is very long, like tournament length long. No short par 3s or par 4s. You have to hit solid shots to score well with every swing. Greens are fast but are well taken care of with some spots under repair (but are repaired well so you can put through them). Fairways are in excellent condition. Staff is very helpful and accommodating. This is not a 5 star course, but it is a solid 4 star course that is affordable in a tourist heavy area (where rates are much higher for top 5 star courses). Highly recommend and would play again when we come back to vacation in this area.
A quiet Sunday afternoon
It was a good day for a walk in the park, but fortunately for me I had my clubs. Course was in good shape. Thought it was interesting that they had indicated that the sand traps were under repair when they looked.better then some of the traps back home! Would come back & play again.

Nice
Visiting the area and played with my son and son-in-law. The course was in very good shape with the exception of the greens that had been sanded but they were consistent.
