About
Honoring the wishes of Lela and Charles Hilton, Legacy Golf Club is named in honor of their beloved son "Chip." He started playing daily at age 9 with a genuine love and excitement for the sport. He was on the Bay High School golf team, apprenticing with golf pro-Kenny Lind and made golf his vocation. As a professional golf instructor, he taught his students invaluable life lessons, emphasizing that golf is not a game of perfection but a comeback. He also believed golf was more than just a game; it was full of essential life skills such as patience, perseverance, determination, and overcoming obstacles and setbacks.
The golf club, established in 1965, is a championship course with challenging greens designed to test golfers with even the sharpest short-game skills. The fairways are generously sized with lakes and white sand bunkers that fiercely guard the elevated greens. Players should be prepared to use every club in their bag. The golf course is challenging but fair and enjoyable, making it a good test of skill without inciting frustration. Its playability, enhanced with three sets of tees, has made it one of Florida's most popular tracks. Legacy Golf Club also boasts extensive practice facilities, including a lighted driving range, chipping green, expansive putting green, Executive Course, and Bar and Grille.

Soggy but solid

Fun track
Ample fairways, few fairway traps, good sand in green side bunkers and great greens. Plenty of doglegs to enhance the fun.
Fun time
Not a lot of trouble on this course. Wide fairways and few fairway bunkers. Evidence of good care and phenomenal greens. Lots of undulations. Will play again.
Loved It
On vacation and was really glad to have picked holiday golf course to play because it was of very very nice course and truly Forgiving for an intermediate golfer like myself.
Course was super busy waiting every shot despite starting on both 9's .Barley finished before dark .Hot deals should not be victimized because of course overbooking .

Good course for all levels of golfers—greens in good shape and fairways generous—good sand in bunkers— course was a little wet from rains but overall very good and straight forward
First time playing and had the benefit of playing with 2 outstanding individuals who supplied great local knowledge .Will play again for sure /
Play Holiday!
Greens are in excellent shape after being redone - larger and undulating. Tee boxes were a bit scruffy, but the fairways are also excellent. The course is mostly open off the tee with beautiful holes and great course layout. I love playing here!
