About
Honoring the wishes of Lela and Charles Hilton, Legacy Golf Club is named in honor of their beloved son "Chip." He started playing daily at age 9 with a genuine love and excitement for the sport. He was on the Bay High School golf team, apprenticing with golf pro-Kenny Lind and made golf his vocation. As a professional golf instructor, he taught his students invaluable life lessons, emphasizing that golf is not a game of perfection but a comeback. He also believed golf was more than just a game; it was full of essential life skills such as patience, perseverance, determination, and overcoming obstacles and setbacks.
The golf club, established in 1965, is a championship course with challenging greens designed to test golfers with even the sharpest short-game skills. The fairways are generously sized with lakes and white sand bunkers that fiercely guard the elevated greens. Players should be prepared to use every club in their bag. The golf course is challenging but fair and enjoyable, making it a good test of skill without inciting frustration. Its playability, enhanced with three sets of tees, has made it one of Florida's most popular tracks. Legacy Golf Club also boasts extensive practice facilities, including a lighted driving range, chipping green, expansive putting green, Executive Course, and Bar and Grille.

Pace of play
Sucks being a twosome getting stuck behind 2 3somes and then one adds a 4th on the turn at 10, 4.5hrs to play 18 and I’m average at best so it’s not like I shot a 72...
Great layout with excellent greens

rainy afternoon
on hole 5 it started raining then by hole 7 it started lighting and we qui so we could live to play anther day. But up till that time it was hot and greens have been sanded and they were fast.

Excellent Experience
On vacation my friends and I (total 10) played Holiday Golf Course three times in four days. We had an excellent experience. The course was in good shape. The staff was pleasant and professional. Thanks again to the pro (Hank) who was very helpful!! We look forward to returning next summer.

Amazing time at Holiday golf course. Finally enjoyed my first round of golf since moving to PCB. I will definitely be back. Location is perfect for me. 5 minute drive.

Vacation Golf
Played here while vacationing in the area.I am sure the greens are usually pretty nice but when i played they looked to have been plugged recently(3-4 weeks prior). The same for the fairways, but overall nice course carts was in excellent shape and course was very well maintained.

Bad timing
We paid for 18 and were to tee off at 2:21. We didn’t tee off until 3:20. We could only play 9 due to aerating the greens on the front. The course was packed and we didn’t get done with 9 until 6:30. We asked if we could comeback tomorrow. The staff member said no that we used golf now. My first bad experience at this course.

Golfing in FLorida!
The course is wonderful. It was a little difficult finding the course because there aren't any signs directing you to the clubhouse once you turn off the main road. But after finding it, it was enjoyable. The course layout is nice, not difficult, but fun.

End of April
Overall fun course. Air-ration of the greens was at this time; however, it was still good. Course layout made it great for first time play. Not many hazards on the course. Played morning after a big storm and course was in great shape. Only thing to suggest Is water coolers on course and driving range needs some improvement. I will be back for sure!
In response to the Holiday Golf Club comment. I like the effort to get 5 stars however you do realize when you ask for 5 stars out of 5 stars that means there’s no room to improve which means you are comparing yourself to the best courses on the planet. idk if you’ve heard of a course called Augusta National or even any TPC course but those are considered 5 stars. I’ve played a 5 star course, called Atlanta Athletic Club- Home to a PGA Championship. I will be glad to give you a 5 star once you can compete with one of those I named. until then 4 stars is the best I can do. Cheers!
