About
Honoring the wishes of Lela and Charles Hilton, Legacy Golf Club is named in honor of their beloved son "Chip." He started playing daily at age 9 with a genuine love and excitement for the sport. He was on the Bay High School golf team, apprenticing with golf pro-Kenny Lind and made golf his vocation. As a professional golf instructor, he taught his students invaluable life lessons, emphasizing that golf is not a game of perfection but a comeback. He also believed golf was more than just a game; it was full of essential life skills such as patience, perseverance, determination, and overcoming obstacles and setbacks.
The golf club, established in 1965, is a championship course with challenging greens designed to test golfers with even the sharpest short-game skills. The fairways are generously sized with lakes and white sand bunkers that fiercely guard the elevated greens. Players should be prepared to use every club in their bag. The golf course is challenging but fair and enjoyable, making it a good test of skill without inciting frustration. Its playability, enhanced with three sets of tees, has made it one of Florida's most popular tracks. Legacy Golf Club also boasts extensive practice facilities, including a lighted driving range, chipping green, expansive putting green, Executive Course, and Bar and Grille.

Beautiful golf day!
First time playing in Florida! A little different from Virginia and a great experience! Played the round with a couple local guys who knew the course. Will definitely play here again when I return to the area!

Worth time and money
On TV they say the have the best greens on the beach and that is a fact.

PCB VACATION
First time out golfing in 2019. Did not bother keeping score as I had some difficulty keeping the ball on the fairway. The greens were good and the course somewhat challenging considering it's slope rating. Would golf it again.

Course conditions are back to normal
We played back in January and the course was so wet it was unplayable. It’s back to normal and plays well now. It wasn’t very busy which was nice. We were able to play in just over 4 hours. I’ve always liked this course although it plays long for me but it allows me to practice my long shots.

course was in good shape

Pristine conditioned
Our foursome plays 5-6 times per week. Fairways are in beautiful condition. Greens are outstanding. We usually finish in slightly over 3 hours. You won’t be disappointed when you play here.

Wet Course
This course stays wet for a few days after a rain. If you don't like walking from the cart paths and playing on wet fairways don't play here for a few days after a rain. This slowed down the pace of play, almost 5 hour round. Greens were very slow.
Good greens but pace of play was annoying
This is our third visit to Holiday this year. The first time we knew it was mostly cart path only, so expected a long round, and were not the least bit upset with it. Because the course was so wet, we waited a month to go back.
The second visit we played in 4 hours and the fairways were mostly dry. Really enjoyed our round.
Today many of the fairways were messy and the pace of play was horrible on the front. It picked up a bit on the back because the group in front of us quit. When we got to 17 there were two groups at the tee box when we arrived.
The greens are in great shape. A Marshall on the course to try to keep people moving wouldn’t be a bad idea.
Lots of Play
So with the restricted amount of courses in PCB This course was probably the best option.
Course was well maintained and provided a good challenge, especially in lieu of the extra traffic the course has received.
