About
Lost Key Golf Club is conveniently situated equidistant from the historic downtown area of Pensacola and the pristine white sand beaches of Orange Beach and the Gulf Shores. The Arnold Palmer-designed layout was Florida's first golf course to be certified as an Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary. It underwent a major renovation in 2006 that included the addition of 2,200 native trees, 13,000 wetland plantings, and the resurfacing of the tees, greens, fairways, and rough. The golf course now presents a formidable test for even the most seasoned golfers. The greens are large and undulating and the flat fairways are lined with trees. There are also doglegs fairways on six holes and sand bunkers on several others. Lost Key Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th hole, which requires a tee shot over water to a partial island green that rolls across dramatic elevation changes.

Best greens in the area.

Very nice course, well laid out, lots of water, tight fairways. Other courses less expensive had gps in carts, otherwise excellent experience.

Challenging course
Great course and layout but condition was disappointing. I played it last year and it was in great condition. Not sure what happened but fairways and greens were bare in spots. Will probably not go back unless the conditions improve.

Always a good challenge with great greens
Greens were too fast for the slope but nice to see good rolling greens.
Some rough spots in the fairways.
Lucked out on a non crowded day to be able to get around in about 4 hours.
Price is a little high but I save my rewards/promo codes to make it more reasonable - thanks to Golf Now.

Good Layout
Always have liked this course. Greens are a bit sparse on grass. But may be just time of year. For the average golfer it's a tough track. You can't spray the ball. Locals call it "Lost Ball" for a reason.

Beautiful course!
Beautiful fairways and greens... Course has a nice layout and design... A good intermediate course play with challenges that are fun to try and overcome

Lost Key Golf
Our GPS led us to a gated entrance that we were not able to enter. It was members only. Fortunately, a member drove up behind us and let us in.
We played this course a few years ago and had same issue.

Great Course.
The course has character! Flat, but very tight. As said many times before, bring lots of balls. Greens are usually in excellent shape. Course is well maintained. Hopefully when new carts are purchased here soon, they will have GPS on them.

Great course!
Love this course with it's big and beautiful greens...would not recommend for beginners but it's my favorite place to play... Locals don't call this course "lost balls" for nothing...

The course conditions are typically at least comparable to other courses in the area, but it was in noticeably rougher shape this time.
