About
Lost Key Golf Club is conveniently situated equidistant from the historic downtown area of Pensacola and the pristine white sand beaches of Orange Beach and the Gulf Shores. The Arnold Palmer-designed layout was Florida's first golf course to be certified as an Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary. It underwent a major renovation in 2006 that included the addition of 2,200 native trees, 13,000 wetland plantings, and the resurfacing of the tees, greens, fairways, and rough. The golf course now presents a formidable test for even the most seasoned golfers. The greens are large and undulating and the flat fairways are lined with trees. There are also doglegs fairways on six holes and sand bunkers on several others. Lost Key Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th hole, which requires a tee shot over water to a partial island green that rolls across dramatic elevation changes.

Fun and challenging
Chatted with the starter and told him that of the six courses we had played in Florida...this had the best greens! The course was challenging, but as i have always said...keep it in the fairway and you'll be fine!

Great shape especially the greens, and it’s narrow
The course was in great shape for Spring golf. The greens were very good, although they could have been mowed down a bit more… a little on the slow side but very consistent.
Lost Key is narrow, I played up a set of tees this year, and found it much more enjoyable… only one lost ball on this course which is pretty good (a friend nicknamed it Lost Ball) and I managed to break 80 as well.
The best part is my wife and I played in 4 hours… we’ve played 5 times in the last couple of weeks and this was the best paced round by far.

Nice venue!
For $80 a couple it was a value. Tees a fairways showed some earlier weather issues…but the greens were in great shape…the best of the 10 courses we’ve played this month! Carts were old…no USB port for electronics like a phone GPS!

Condition
Love the course but last time there not in very good condition. Early on year greens were the best. Now not so much, some rough areas in fairway in landing areas.

Good but bad !
Great course layout, but extremley poor condition, pace of play was the worse I think I've ever expericenced

Excellent All Around
The title of the review speaks for itself. Friendly staff. Immaculate course conditions. Challenging greens. Did not have to wait at all throughout the day. Free range balls with purchase of round. Free tees in the cart. 5 stars all around.

Disappointed
Not pleased with the conditions of the course. It has been 3 years since we played this course and it was in great condition then . Now some of the greens and fairways had bare spots and many of the greens had some kind of disease. For the price it was not worth it.
