About
Lost Key Golf Club is conveniently situated equidistant from the historic downtown area of Pensacola and the pristine white sand beaches of Orange Beach and the Gulf Shores. The Arnold Palmer-designed layout was Florida's first golf course to be certified as an Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary. It underwent a major renovation in 2006 that included the addition of 2,200 native trees, 13,000 wetland plantings, and the resurfacing of the tees, greens, fairways, and rough. The golf course now presents a formidable test for even the most seasoned golfers. The greens are large and undulating and the flat fairways are lined with trees. There are also doglegs fairways on six holes and sand bunkers on several others. Lost Key Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th hole, which requires a tee shot over water to a partial island green that rolls across dramatic elevation changes.

Great course for your buck
Great course for the price. Fairways are kept up better than any course I’ve ever played. Greens were being aerated at the time, but the friendliness of the staff and the layout of the course made it well worth it. The course is challenging, but rewarding for those who are good with low irons. Overall 9/10.

Prepare to lose golf balls
If you’re an average golfer with a slice or hook, stay away from this course. I average 85 and shot well over that due to extremely unforgiving fairways. Once you get to the green, it’s fantastic. But the shots leading to the green have to be perfect. Tis why I’ve dubbed this course the “lost ball”.

Where's the marshal at?
Course got way backed up on the back nine, and we never saw a marshal anywhere at any time during our round. So we ended up just leaving without finishing.

Incredible.
I am an 11 handicap who is a total snob about course conditions.. let me tell you, this place is just about perfectly manicured, 9/10.
My only Only knock is the tee boxes could’ve been flatter; but nonetheless, they were 8/10.
This is the tightest and least forgiving golf course I have ever played. But would continually go back if I didn’t live over an hour away.
Staff was extremely friendly and answered all my questions with a genuine smile.
Greens here are extra firm, so plan on each one of your approach shots rolling 10-15 yards after landed.
10/10 would highly recommend.

Beautiful course, tight, no room for a driver, greens absolutely the best there is, lots of wet land, it is an island after all, and I would play it again and again. If you slice one in the bushes, don’t plan to go in after it without a guide.

Great Layout, nice greens.
Very nice coarse with a lot of character, The greens were nice and consistant. The fairways need a bit more grass growth, (maybe still coming back from Hurricane Sally).

If I could give this place 6 stars I would, no hyperbole. Unforgettable experience, from bag drop to bon voyage. Easily worth $100+, paid barely half that. Quintessential northwest Florida costal golf.

What a nice tight course! Better bring extra balls if you don’t hit tee shots straight ! Locals call it Lost Ball. Lots of fun! Lots of jungle off the fairways!

They spaced out the groups so no one up your rear end through the round. True class! I will be back. This is Bubba Watson’s home course. He grew up 30 minutes away.
