About
Lost Key Golf Club is conveniently situated equidistant from the historic downtown area of Pensacola and the pristine white sand beaches of Orange Beach and the Gulf Shores. The Arnold Palmer-designed layout was Florida's first golf course to be certified as an Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary. It underwent a major renovation in 2006 that included the addition of 2,200 native trees, 13,000 wetland plantings, and the resurfacing of the tees, greens, fairways, and rough. The golf course now presents a formidable test for even the most seasoned golfers. The greens are large and undulating and the flat fairways are lined with trees. There are also doglegs fairways on six holes and sand bunkers on several others. Lost Key Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th hole, which requires a tee shot over water to a partial island green that rolls across dramatic elevation changes.

Best Kept Secret on the Gulf
Heard a lot about Lost Key, found it to be a very tight, challenging course but very fair. The greens were the best shape of any place I have played this year. Very impressed with this course, the layout and the staff were all very nice and welcoming. I will be back again soon! Can’t wait to get back out there!
Once you finally get there, the course is nice
Your GPS device will not get you to the clubhouse. It will send you to private gated entrances. You need to find the entrance on Perdido Key blvd. even when you find the entrance, there are no signs how to get to the clubhouse. We had to stop and ask workers. This course is not for the average golfer who cannot control their shots. You will lose at least a dozen balls. The course is in terrific shape, but the plush greens do not hold shots well. I am a 5 hdcp and could not bite up a wedge. Hit them straight, or stay away.

Great course!
Loved it. Great way to get rid of those extra balls in your bag….lotsa water and marsh. The address on golf now takes you to an unmanned gate. Just follow the signs and you’ll get there.

Target style course so be pretty on, or bring lots of balls

Excellent test for your game
This course is a great test for your game. Tees, fairways, and greens were in excellent condition. The course is difficult for high handicap golfers but playable from the proper tees. Overall an enjoyable golfing experience.

Worth a visit
Tough course but always in good condition.
Heavy rains had back 9 closed and Golf Now didn’t disclose!

Lost Ball
I have to admit. I was a bit nervous when they told me Bubba plays here. First four holes are a bit brutal. But things do get easier or maybe we all started playing better. Greens were fast. Staff was awesome. Not a bad word I can say.

Terrific course
Greens were perfect. The course layout was challenging but not unfair. Knowledge of the course would help. Easy to get in a hazrd you didn't realize was there. Friendly staff. All around a great time.

Premium conditions but difficult
Great course. Every green was in perfect condition. The rough was consistent and the layout was fun to play. The course is very unforgiving if you miss the fairway or a green. In a group of single-digit handicaps, there were still many lost balls. The lunch menu in the clubhouse was underwhelming but not bad, just not as amazing as the course.
Would recommend if you prioritize course conditions.

Great course
Great course but make sure you have the course layout downloaded on your phone. A lot of blind shots, tight fairways (which makes it fun), and the greens are kinda fast but all of the are smooth. Some pin locations were questionable. Thought the charts were going to gps systems in them but they didn’t. Also, make sure you guys come through the main gate. If you type the address it’ll take you to gates that only residents can get in. Know from experience and almost made me late for my tee time.
