About
Lost Key Golf Club is conveniently situated equidistant from the historic downtown area of Pensacola and the pristine white sand beaches of Orange Beach and the Gulf Shores. The Arnold Palmer-designed layout was Florida's first golf course to be certified as an Audubon International Silver Signature Sanctuary. It underwent a major renovation in 2006 that included the addition of 2,200 native trees, 13,000 wetland plantings, and the resurfacing of the tees, greens, fairways, and rough. The golf course now presents a formidable test for even the most seasoned golfers. The greens are large and undulating and the flat fairways are lined with trees. There are also doglegs fairways on six holes and sand bunkers on several others. Lost Key Golf Club's signature hole is the par-3 13th hole, which requires a tee shot over water to a partial island green that rolls across dramatic elevation changes.

Beach Golf
We played this course on Friday evening. Tee off about 5pm and had the course to ourselves. Course is very tight but not long and most good golfers could get away with never hitting driver. Hazards are in play every hole and any miss has a chance to be in hazard. Greens had been punched and were almost filled back in but they were still a little bumpy. Fairways had some bad spots but nothing terrible. Can’t wait to go back and play again now that I’ve seen the course.
Solid course but hard
I’ve been playing LK for about 15 years now. It’s a good course , but not for the faint of heart. Not a lot of margin for error on the fairways or greens. Bring lots of balls because you will loose a lot

Way over priced
Course is certainly not worth the price charged on Golfnow. Several dead spots in fairways and tee boxes. Overall not well maintained with lots of weeds. Greens very rough as they had been recently aerated and still showed the aeration holes which impacted putting. There was no indication of an aeration alert when booking. Would not play this course again especially at the ninety dollar cost.

Great round of golf
Course greens had been punched two weeks earlier. Not quite back to excellent conditions but, nice course and layout.

Call first to get correct directions too course, the greens were just sanded which they don’t tell you , tight course , straight is good idea from tee. Would play again

Great layout, rough aerated greens
No one was on the course because greens were recently serrated and very rough. If they turn out to be smooth and fast then I’d highly recommend this course.

Great course
The only complaint I have is due to current aerification of the course. I felt as if that wouldn’t have been a factor every thing would be 5 star. Very friendly staff.

Tough course
Very nice course but very narrow and a lot of water and woods. Stay in the fairway or loose your ball. Conditions were excellent and we never saw anyone ahead of us. I lost about 8 balls. Front nine is much more forgiving but the back nine is tough. Beware!

Great value
My wife and I loved it. They even had senior ladies tees so it was great for my wife. All employees were very polite and helpful.

Great experience
Course was in great condition front nine pace of play was slow, back nine was nice overall just a great experience.
Arnold Palmer course tough and tight in spots
I liked the course but it is not a friendly place for a high handicap player I’m a 10 and I lost 5 balls only 2 of which I would blame the tightness of the course I probably hit driver on 9 holes I hit 5 wood and my 3 hybrid on the rest hole 10 is to tight for driver and I still had 180 to another tight shot by the green so be aware this course is not easy. When I arrived at 9:30 am no one was there at the bag drop when I pay 90 dollars to play I expect a little better service also no one meet me to take care of my clubs after the round I normally would expect that at a high end course of you tip for these services and I do. All that being said I think the course was in great shape and enjoyed my day they also let my wife ride with me and no charge some courses have a fee for this. I do recommend the course it’s a beautiful setting. Pace of play was good waited a fair amount but I was a single which comes with the territory played in 3 hours and 20 minutes.
Great layout
Every hole is different. Bring good tee shots and short game. Greens roll nice and are in good shape. We waited on many shots but finished our round in 3 1/2 hrs so pace was good.
Outstanding greens
The course isn't in tour condition, but very good condition and the greens are very close to tour condition. The layout is fun and interesting.
