Windy Days Still Fun to Play Osceola
This is my favorite Course. I love these venerable old Courses designed in the heyday of American golf, the 1920s (1926 for Osceola). Don't underestimate this Course. The Golf Course Architect speaks to you on every hole. It's like having your own private Coach. This tree here, this sand trap there. The greens are especially not to be taken for granted-- they are challenging. I just love Osceola as it is 5-YEARS from its 100th Birthday!
Please Re-Open on-course Bathrooms as others have
Advise everyone okay Cypress Lakes until Osceola re-opens both restrooms on the course proper.
Golf courses are struggling enough without making your Guests find a tree! Get a grip.
Cypress Lakes friendly golf course: no silly mask requirement, their restrooms are open. And fairways aren't torn up badly, they're beautifully maintained.
Good old Osceola
Always a decent round for the money. Course conditions fair. Expect winter conditions soon.
Decent value nice day
It was a beautiful day, Course was in pretty decent shape especially considering a hurricane I just happen. Pace of play was very good. Staff is super friendly, I left my phone and when called it the attendant that answers shred a laugh with me and. Had it waiting for me when I walked in. They wished me a good day. All in all a good value for Saturday morning.
Please Restore bathrooms and golf ball Wash Stands
City Council, gold is struggling enough. Please re- open the two bathrooms on the course. What you're doing isn't hygenic.lsanitary. Please!
Favorite Course
Favorite to play in town.
Special request: Please place Sand containers on tee boxes for divot repair. Please re-open bathrooms.
Thanks!
Love you, Osceola!
Thanks for Re-Opening so Quickly post-Hurricane Sally
Sad to hear Osceola lost 31 trees in Hurricane Sally. City & Staff did amazing job bringing the Course back online so quickly. This Course, built in 1926, is my favorite. You can't beat the Old School classic courses for character and "Soul."
The Golf Course Architect talks to you here if you listen for it.
P.S. New CART PATHS are beautiful!
Good time
Stars say it all. Course condition is getting better. Good time.
Good job cleaning up after Sally
Looked like they fared pretty well at Osceola , and have managed to clean up most of the debris. Course in pretty good shape.
Decent muni course with a nice varied layout
Pleasant and friendly lady checked me in. The greens were inconsistent....some were nice and others had some bare spots and weeds. However, the terrain was not just flat. They keep the rough trimmed, so finding your ball is not usually a problem. Some holes run along the property boundary, so OB might be an issue. The terrain is varied enough to make things interesting. There are some “blind” tee shots and some nice downhill shots to the green. If you play from the back tees, a couple par 4s are pretty long, although total course yardage is not very long. I liked the variety of the course.
Welcome
First time at this course and everyone from the staff to the players made you feel welcome..
