Osceola Municipal Golf Course

Son was in town wanting to play every day . So made t-times at several lower cost courses, course was in okay shape for this time of year, staff wasn’t the friendliest but im not there for them anyway. Only real complaint i have of course is you have to have cart return to cart shed at 5 pm so if you have a later t-time as we did you cant finish 18 holes,

Fairways and greens could use some work yet, part of it was playing it in February, but still could have been better. Saw signs about them improving the cart paths, but should be spending that money on the course itself.

In the past it seems like we always got behind a five-some, and pace of play was always very slow. This time we were finished in less than 4 hours as a foursome.

Mostly a dirt track

Greens spotted with bumps and holes.

No ranger to move players along.

Many golfers with zero etiquette and clueless about pace if play.

Played this course the past 3-4 years with lowered expectations but it’s now sunken to an off my list level.

Greens very bad, cart path’s washed out in spots, fairways very little grass

The physical condition of the course was not good. Number one fairway had been machined, or something.. There were weeds and holes on many greens. There was no sand available at tee-off to repair divots. Most fairways did not have the usual distances to the hole marked.
