About
Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of native wetlands, an abundance of hardwood trees, and a generous smattering of meandering creeks and sparkling lakes. The beautiful terrain sets it apart from other golf courses in the Atlanta area. The course is known for the numerous grass-walled bunkers filled with pristine white sand that are strategically placed throughout. The player-friendly greens are wide and approachable, but there is the occasional multi-tier to watch out for. The generous nature of the greens also allows for a variety of pin placements. The natural features of the landscape at Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club not only provide beautiful scenery but they also make for a more interesting game since they require you to get creative with your shot-making, especially when trying to figure out how to handle some of the tricky carries.

Winter golf, cold and windy
Club house guy and starter top notch. Golf course is okay for winter play I guess. Greens fast and rolled well. Tee boxes were good for winter play, but fairways are beaten down from all the carts driving from tee to green. Sand traps need some attention to be playable.
I’m sure once the grass starts growing again the fairways will be fine, but not a fan of the course.

Great course for the price!
The course was a little wet from the days previous rain, but outside of managing the wet spots with the cart. The course was amazing. The greens were true, the bunkers we white and sandy! Definitely would return for more and more rounds.

Terrible experience
Round was delayed an hour. Cart died on the 11th hole and we could not reach the course for help.

Interesting layout
Today’s round was plagued by high winds. Nonetheless, inconsistent greens often left me scratching my head. I will continue to come back in hopes to catch the course in its best of conditions with ideal weather. Timing was not good this go round.

Cold but beautiful!!
Great layout for some tricky approaches..!! True greens with speed..better bring your best flat stick!! Must play if within an hour drive for ATLiens...

Staff not helpful
We played behind a group of 7 for 11 holes. They only had four golf bags and were sharing clubs on every hole. Had to call the clubhouse three times for them to come out and do something. They moved them behind us but the groups behind them had to skip holes because of that

Pace of play!!!
I went out as a single with a large gap in front of me. On 8 I caught the threesome in front of me. On 10 I was told they would let me play through but there is a foursome holding up 5 groups. A marshal is needed severally.
