About
Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of native wetlands, an abundance of hardwood trees, and a generous smattering of meandering creeks and sparkling lakes. The beautiful terrain sets it apart from other golf courses in the Atlanta area. The course is known for the numerous grass-walled bunkers filled with pristine white sand that are strategically placed throughout. The player-friendly greens are wide and approachable, but there is the occasional multi-tier to watch out for. The generous nature of the greens also allows for a variety of pin placements. The natural features of the landscape at Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club not only provide beautiful scenery but they also make for a more interesting game since they require you to get creative with your shot-making, especially when trying to figure out how to handle some of the tricky carries.

Great course for the $
Crystal Lake is a fun and challenging layout. Fast greens and wide fairways.

Nice, but no restrooms on the course
I like the course’s layout and it is challenging. The Staff were super pleasant. The carts were well sanitized as I could smell the bleach. The pace of play was good as we hardly had to wait. My only complaint is that after the 9th hole the course does not go back to the clubhouse. There was only a porta potty to use, really, with COVUD-19? This is never ever good for the Lady golfers, so I had to hold it for 4 hours. Unfortunately, I don’t think I can convince my Girls to play there for that reason. Maybe they should at least consider building restrooms.

Great Course
Really enjoyed Crystal Lakes. Links style layout with great greens and open fairways. Will definitely be back. Course rewards good shots and only penalized for mis-hits and bad shots.

Disorganized
Course wasn’t in good shape. Tee boxes were tore
up. They were also super disorganized with tee times. Not worth the money until they fix up the course.

Excellent Getaway from COVID-19
Crystal Lake has done a wonderful job of keeping golf a viable option for all Atlanta area golfers! Well done and A Great Big Thank you to the Club, the staff and the patrons for their patients. Please keep it up
New from Tampa Area - this Course Is a now a regular go to ! Great shape and nice challenge.
I would recommend that golfers not be allowed to walk. Way to far between several holes. Pace of play suffers.

Good Value for the Money
Played this course in the past and its always in decent shape. Fairways could use some improvement but overall not bad. Greens in good shape but not as fast as in the past.

Confused
After reading about course then I played in so disappointing the fairways are terrible the greens need work no water 85 degrees yesterday and they want 49 $

Bad course
Fairways are so bad sand on greens with some are just gone

Strategic Positioning
Played from the tips which makes the course interesting from the back. You must position your shots on the right side of the fairway to get a good approach shot in. Some holes were challenging but overall very moderate. Greens were recovering from being plugged, therefore bumpy. While not top of my list I would return to test the greens.

Crystal Lake Still Shines
I have played this course periodically over the last ten years. Currently, it is not in its best shape as the fairways do not seem to be coming in consistently and crab grass is prevalent. However, the greens are fine and this layout is so good that I always have fun playing it. Roll it around a little bit and swing away! Crystal Lake shines.

Terrible golf course
Don’t play it! Layout is good, but conditions all over are quite bad! Pro shop staff not friendly and no water offered in any form.
I won’t play it again not even for free!

Good course / bad conditions
Played the course today 3/14/20 and the greens were punched, but actually rolled decent. Too much crab grass in the fairways and bunkers were unplayable. Give them a month or two to get things back to normal.

Not ready for spring play
We play multiple times every year, this is our go to place. This was the 1st time out this year and the course was in the worst shape we have ever seen it over the last 5 years
