Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club
About
Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club sprawls across a scenic landscape of native wetlands, an abundance of hardwood trees, and a generous smattering of meandering creeks and sparkling lakes. The beautiful terrain sets it apart from other golf courses in the Atlanta area. The course is known for the numerous grass-walled bunkers filled with pristine white sand that are strategically placed throughout. The player-friendly greens are wide and approachable, but there is the occasional multi-tier to watch out for. The generous nature of the greens also allows for a variety of pin placements. The natural features of the landscape at Crystal Lake Golf & Country Club not only provide beautiful scenery but they also make for a more interesting game since they require you to get creative with your shot-making, especially when trying to figure out how to handle some of the tricky carries.

Golfer Reviews
Overall Good Course
Nice challenging course in a pretty neighborhood for a good price. Friendly Staff. Greens could be better and the rough was very rough. I never could find the 150yard markers which made judging distance to the pin difficult and not enough water coolers on the course. Will play again and hope this helps to fix the negatives.
Very solid layout.
Challenging from the blue tees.
Only issue was not enough water stations.
Golf game
Course was awsome. Loved the layout. Greens were awesome as well with bentgrass. My putts rolled easy with no bumpy or hopping. just wished they had a refreshment cart. As was hot.
I’m thirsty!
This is one of my favorite courses, but the lack of drinking water coolers and concessions is terrible. It’s really not acceptable to have nothing available to drink.
Excellent Outing
Course in great shape, greens rolling fast and true, friendly staff, great weather (hot- little breeze). Nice practice green and range. Highly reccomend! What more can be said? Can't reach minimum words! Help!"...................................................................
Great Shape
The course was in great shape. The pace of play was fine. I thoroughly ennoyed my round. I will be back soon. Great value for the money.
Great layout, views and employees at Crystal Lake!
This course was in good condition even after two days of hard rains in the area. I was impressed with the layout which required use of most of the clubs in my bag. Two or three greens were dealing with a fungus issue, but most were pristine and large surface area overall. I loved the way that holes were designed to allow separation of golfers. Would definitely recommend this course!!
Long course Blind shots
Very nice course, long blind shots, need a guide book or a tour guide. Lol
SandBunker hard sand can't play out of them.
Staff not so friendly.
Great Time
First time playing the course. It was worth the 50 mile drive. Will definitely return..
Love this course
Course is in great shape compared to many in this area.
Fund raiser tornament
Played in a fund raising tournament with about 20 four-person teams. Course was in good shape; 17 of 18 greens really good (one had a couple bare/bad spots). As others have noted, no "rest" stops along the way except for one portable facility. Limited water coolers, too. The drink/snack cart was manned by some of the tournament volunteers. Don't know if they have someone out during the week or not. No personal coolers allowed? Lucky or me, my golf bag has an insulated beverage compartment. Fairways and tee boxes in good shape for the most part. Some tee boxes showing signs of wear.
Purposely omitted a price paid for the round as it was a fund raiser and we paid more than the standard rate, but we had door prizes, lunch, trophies, etc. I heard we raised a nice sum of money for the Southern Baptist Network's kid's camp fund.
Water
The only problem with this course is once you start you don't come back by the clubhouse to get refreshed with water or drink. Every time I play the water containers on the course are empty. The course and golf are great but the water being empty is a problem.
Nice change of pace
I chose to play at Crystal al lake for a change of pace from where I normally play. The course is about a 45 minute drive for me, but it was truly worth it. The course was in good shape and the greens rolled very true. Played with a member who really helped me with course layout and strategy. Will definitely return
Great course
Definitely a nice course but I suggest you get all you need and use the restroom before you tee off. There is nothing between the first tee box and the 18th green. No portables, no cold drinks, no stop!
Nice lady out
Don't recommend this course if you bought it on GolfNow no rain check will be issued if you guys run into rain while on the course
Favorite course
Conditions were good but there is major housing construction going on and the burning of the trees is unbearable. Should close course until burning is done.
